I think the biggest disappointment is the increase in power, generally all new model years of most car manufacturers make this their first area of improvement.

Hi all, I was at the MB dealer today and was advised that '09 are to be arriving mid-July. He confirmed that there will be memory seats (drivers side only) as standard equipment, and a larger HD from 4 gig to 6 gig. The sales guys called his MB training department while I was sitting there to confirm the above.
He did not have pricing of other info yet, but told me I can order one now for July delivery.
Has anyone seen any pricing yet for '09, or that can confirm the above changes?

There's no 09 pricing yet. The dealers have a package that shows the changes for 09....and they have already ordered their first 09's...your dealer already has some cars in production and can't be altered, but they also have some going into production that can still be altered to your specs. If your salesman says that any of this is wrong, or he has to check with someone else about it...get up and walk directly to the sales manager's office and deal with him....get the useless sales droid out of the loop.
At my local dealership, the salesman pulled up the 09 order form right at his desk and we could check on every feature/package at his desk. He also had another listing of changes right at his desk. This was a couple of weeks ago.
Yes memory seat is either part of either the standard package or in a premium package as well as power tilt/trim of the steering column...I just don't remember. wood dash and cashmere seats are available on more models. probably a few other small tweaks I'm forgetting but no change to engine/transmission/suspension.

I'm indifferent in terms of the power, really. Mods are always available. But I am interested in the new packages, if any. When do you think they'll update MBUSA, or do we need to go to a dealer to take care of it personally?

Driver memory for seat, steering wheel, and mirrors part of Premium I package (so optional on C300s, standard on C350 since C350 has Premium I included)

P1 included on an '09? Sounds awesome. What about shift paddles as an option? But how much is it going to boost the MSRP?

PI is only included on the C350 as it was for 2008 as well. PI is still optional for 2009 on the C300s but I don't remember how much. I think it was similar in price to 2008 because they said at the dealer since they removed the folding mirrors and put in memory seat it came out about equal.

Wait, the C350 has P1 as an option on the MBUSA website for the '08 models. Is that incorrect, then? Or is it just a given that all 350s come with P1, so it's as good as standard?
, that sucks how much would it be to get them put any one have any ideas? i really wanted them cause my garage is a real tight fit, my 09 is already on the boat

Premium II costs $1,350 on a C350 and $2,750 on the C300. This is because it is a tiered package so when you have Premium II you are also getting Premium I. However, since the C350 has Premium I standard, it costs less to upgrade to Premium II.

It would probably cost around $700 to buy them aftermarket. Many people have done this for the W203 or W211 since power-folding mirrors were never available on those models in the US. You would need two new mirrors and a new driver's window button group since the power-fold button is in that group of buttons. Then the star diagnostic computer would need to switch "Power-folding mirrors" to present in your car's menus so that the car would know you had them and the feature to fold on locking would be available in the Convienience menu.

I guess they dropped the power folding mirrors because they got too many complaints about their function - you see alot of posters here complaining that they squeak. So instead of fixing them, they delete them - I guess that's the new model for "german engineering". Dissapointing.

The seperate harman logic 7 sound system is cool
but can anyone confirm whether US C300 still has Panorama roof as an option? seems its not an option any more for 09 canada C300. only C350 has it.

and I just found out that you can not get panaroma roof option in Canada on 2008 C300 series. US has it tho on 08 C300 models
So that means most likely US09 C300 series would still have panaroma roof option?
