C300 Launch Control !!
Is it true there is some sort of a reset that eliminates this initial delay when you fully press the gas pedal?? I heard that there is a reset you should do after the break-in period in order to get the car moving more responsively!!
I have noticed that the initial acceleration once I fully press the gas is very disappointing! Actually not what I expect from a 3.0 Litre engine! About 1 second delay….I am sure this can be avoided some how…I have also heard that Mercedes does that on purpose to give the ride more comfort!!
Step to Reset the TCU. Resetting the TCU will reset transmission to factory shift points and the car will 'relearn' your driving style.
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for TCU to reset.
now that many of us are out of that break in period we can have the car learn a more aggressive style.

Not sure if resetting the computer would affect launch delay...I think its just something you may have to live with since its an automatic...unless you can get some kind of chip

1. turn key to start position
2. hold gas pedal to the floor for 5 one thousands
3. while still holding the pedal turn key to the off position
4. release pedal
5. wait 2-5 minutes for reset (you will hear a small click from the key hole if it is done properly)
6.Remove key, re-insert and start the car

Wouldn't make sense though cause wouldn't it just learn your driving style again anyways?
