Hey guys... I went to the Frankfurt IAA motor show this past September and snapped a few shots of the LED day-time running lights on a C250 CDI Estate. My local dealer said they still cannot place order for the parts yet... don't know when I can retro-fit these...

I checked those LEDs from my local dealer in Turkey, these come standard with adaptive headlights for model year 2010. If you do not order adaptive headlights, ordinary fog lights come as standard.

Yeah, I think Benz missed it with this one... they should have ran a line of LEDs down the "eyebrow" and left the fogs alone...would have looked mean and well finished.

hmmm, polarizing opinions here.

I think they look nice and modern.
The 3-section lower grill opening with round fog lights design is seen on so many models.

I wonder if you could replace the LEDs with yellow ones and use them as fog lights?

I hate the glass fogs because i have two cracked ones. I do no like the look of the LED's they look cheap and store bought!

Hmmmm...

Having mixed feelings with these. I think the hockey sticks would of looked better and would of tied in nicely with the E Class. I think I'd have to see these in person, close up and driving by a few of them before I form an opinion either way...

The more I look at them, the more I like em.

You do raise another question. How well will they hold up to rocks, etc.

I sometimes think that a lot of the fog light breakage is caused by vandals. I've been through more than a fair share of rocks myself and my fogs haven't broken.

Well, not my taste. Hockey sticks looks way better.... plus I'm already worried about maintainance as I dont think these will last longer.

+1000 for hockey sticks with mesh backing.

Surprised we aren't able to get this mod as a group buy yet.

I think I like them, but maybe not lol. Kinda having mixed feelings now cause seeing them up close they don't look as nice. I'm more upset about the fact that it's already time for a "facelift."

I was kind of more hoping for the same LED treatment that the E63 AMG got, but I guess that's wishful thinking...

I have ordered the parts will most likely have them at the end of this week.

However I am a bit worried about my bumper, the bumper shell is also different on cars equipped with 236 DRL , dont want to cut the bumper to make these fit..
