Battery jumpstart and radio? audio?

I just did battery restart done by MB customer service.
I tried to turn on a radio and it didn't work.
How can I restart my audio system?(6cd changer)

Thanks, it's the weekend, so they aren't open today.
Is there any way I can do by myself?

I read some in the internet, they have to put some code according to my VIN#. Is that what needs to be done?

Thanks,

A 204 should not have any code. Do you mean the head unit does not turn on? How would you enter the code then? If it turns on and asks for a code, that would be new to me (later head units have a code but that should be needed only if the device was moved to another car).

Did you check all fuses, perhaps some have gone from the jump-start.

If the radio wont even turn on, the fuse in the back of the radio got fried (mini fuse)

I remember disconecting my battery for like an hr or so and didnt require any type of code for the radio. Everything just boosted right back up, even my radio setting were still the same.

Both positive and negative?
What I heard from a service man saing was to remove both from the battery and touch each other for 3 seconds.

please share your experiences.

Okay, I just went down to do both plugs off from the battery.
I tried to make both plugs each other for over 3 seconds and reconnected them, but doesn't work.

Is there an order when you put both plugs back to the battery? positve first?

fuse box for audio

I think my fuse for audio system is out and I want to change the fuse for the audio. Where can I find the fuse?
I opened the hood but no picture. Is it inside the fuse box in the driver's seat?

I looked into the manual book. It doesn't have a picture.

Thanks,

Threads merged. Still same audio subject. No need for a new thread.

A leaflet of the details of Fuses are usually in the spare tyre gear in the boot.
