Dealers keep dinging my wheels

So a few months ago I left my car at ASC in VA. They curbed my left rear wheel but called me and let me know. They were going to pay for a new one but buffed it out that I wasn't too concerned so I let them slide.

I get my car back from HBL in VA yesterday and my front left wheel is curbed!!!!! No one mentioned it to me. I found out washing my c ar today. I have had these rims for 2 yrs and never dinged one of them. They have my car for 3 days and ding one. This really pisses me off. Now I get to see what the manager says on Tuesday.

I definately want a new one now.

At least they confessed to you once. Some dealers just wouldnt even tell you they curb your wheels or anything like that. All they would do is being a jerk and pretend that you had those things before you send the car to them.

I cringe at the idea of ever having any tire work done. Something always happens. I had new tires put on my G35 a few years ago and they scraped up every single lug nut hole. I made them fix it. They had me go to a specialty shop for the repainting of my wheels.

No need to be a ***** about it, ***** happens. Just let them know it happened again and your disappointed that its the second time. Be clam about it and the will take care of it. When you treat others with respect they will show you the same courtesy. And my guess is they will be much more carefull in the future and maybe even give you nicer cars if they can when a loaner is needed.

I dont think they will do anything even after you tell them, because you notice it after you take the car home, not at the dealership. They will said its not their fault.

you get what you give. When you dish out ****, that's what you get right back in your face. Start off by being nice about it and see what happens. They're just people too and if they like you, they'll be more then happy to go the extra mile.

Damn, that sucks. I had one of my lug not holes slightly scuffed after I had the dealer take a look at it... I didn't say anything though, it really wasn't that big of a deal. But does anyone else find the rims to be very "soft". At least on my 2009 c300 sport rims, there are some chips and small scratches from road debris (not curb damage), that I have never experienced on other rims... But long story short, it was pretty minor and I didn't want to complain and become "that guy" next time I bring my car in for service and get the shaft.

Same here for me. New car, 4 miles on it and picked it up last Saturday - upgraded to the 18" rims. Drove home, washed it (and removed the 16oz of tire black they put on the wheels), and found these lovely tool marks... Going back this Saturday to have both rims replaced. Apparently, they're charging it back to the monkey that did the tire swap...
