Hahaha sorry man. I'm only thinking about it. Honestly though I'm just gonna keep them til I'm finished with my next mod on this car.

If I were u I would reverse the mount and go w a higher offset and run spacers to get to where u wanna be flush wise, then match tires to that. the best way to achieve a clean look is to go 19s, you get less gap cause its less tire to start with, and then any stretch you do makes a diff in clearance more than looks wise. now you know how I ended up w so many sets of wheels, always looking for the next best thing, I still havent found something that I absolutely love, im still searching too. I gotta sell off some of my sets to go shopping after seeing all the new designs out there
Yea I understand. I'm only gonna reverse the mount on the front for now. Looking for lip and flushness at the same time is difficult

Ok, I think this may have been asked already, but after reading 18 pages of posts and hearing different opinions I am just going to ask anyway so forgive me in advance if this is redundant. I want to go with a staggered set up of 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 both have a +45 offset. My car is stock ride height right now, but looking to go w/ the eibach pro kit & 5mm spring pads in the rear. I would like the rims/tires to sit pretty flush w/ the fenders. Looking at 235/35 in the front and 265/30 in the rear. Would this set up work for what I am trying to achieve? Thanks for any input.

With eibach pro kit you will clear no problem as the kit doesn't give a significant drop like H&R super sport springs do. Should be fine

Thanks Loonie. As far as the offsets go, it should sit pretty flush? Seen pics posted in this thread and we're only talking a few mm difference right? Seems like a bunch of people are running offsets in the 30's on the front.

Look at my 18s a few posts up. I'm around 8.5/9.5 et40~ you should be fine at +45 with a mild drop from springs. It will be flush. mines has a lil poke but I like it.

It'll poke a little bit in the back. Should be no rubbing with the drop though.

Okay I sat here and read through 18 pages and still can't get a right answer. I'm looking to get some 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 back, what is the right offset I should be looking for? I don't want it to stick out nor I don't want it to rub my tires as I plan to drop my car later on. thanks.

This is exactly what I am going to run.

Post some pictures and let me know how everything works out.

I have the super sports sitting in my closet and I may end up selling them. I don't want any rubbing.

Thanks

53 offset rear for a 9.5 wide rim is too high.. can go lower by 5mm maybe even more

i have 48 rear on 9.5 with 265/30 and no rubbing even compressed.. have room for maybe another 3mm max

45mm for front is very conservative also.. have room for at least 5mm more with out rubbing

They should clear. My setup is almost identical to those specs. I'm not running any spacers on the front though.

See this thread for pics.

Not much fender clearance to play with. Maybe 3mm in the front. Back fenders have maybe 1-2mm?

Just shows how weak the offsets are on the w204. It might be a different story if you ran some crazy negative camber...

So I just read through this thread and it's pretty informative. I'm thinking about picking these up - http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-AMG-STYLE...2c61b8&vxp=mtr

I already have tires at my house from my old setup on my 350z.

Will these fit without rubbing:

19x8.5 et45 235/35
19x9.5 et45 275/35

I would really prefer to use my current tires if possible. From what I gathered it will be flush but close to rubbing.

I'll be on stock suspension.

Does anybody have any feedback for these wheels/setup?

I reread ur post, silversx thought 35 was the offset, thats your profile on tires. That will work no prob, I have a set of similar and am slammed low and clear easily, I run spacers w that setup LOL. BUt I wouldnt personally run a 35 front and back, I would run a 30, the rears are gonna be a little fat w 275/35, but you may not mind it, Im picky w wheel/tires. I can clear that setup w 275/30/19 dropped low, stock suspension is good. The 45 offset pairs sit flush out back and a few mm inside front fenders, its a pretty good setup for stock height

How much clearance will I get with the 40F 44R lowered without having to roll fenders. Sorry for the questions, I've been reading people having issues with 42F/44F so if you say that these 40f/44r clears well.. then that will be my target setup.

It is an equal combination of TIRE SIZE AND BRAND that relates to the offset of the wheel to make a wheel/tire setup. 2 people can run the same wheel w different brand tires and 1 can rub and 1 can clear. There is that much variation in tire manufacturers. I personally am big on 2 brands, sumitomo and falken. Both are skinny brand tires and are inexpensive and good quality. I can clear just about anything w the right setup no matter the offset. our offset is weird, but in the bigger picture an inch is 25 point something mm's, so a few mm isnt much. just cause someone posts hey Im on Supersports w 40mm offset doesnt mean u will clear. Unless a poster gives u exact wheel offset and size and exact tire brand dont rely on just that. I rub on the wheels im running this month if I switch to ANY brand tire other than falken/sumitomo 265/30/19, so go figure. But remember we DONT rub our fenders out back, we rub the fabric inside them, unless your on other MB offset wheels.... thats another ball game.
