Watches, just like cars, are a huge obsession of mine too.
What I got so far:
Panerai 25A
Breitling Superocean Steelfish
Tag Heuer Formula 1
Anyone else have the same problem?

No offense but I have been collecting watches for about 15 years so I have seen a lot. I would avoid Invicta their QC and customer service is pretty bad. I have seen pics of brand new Invictas straight from the factory still shrink wrapped that have hands and indicies rattling around inside the crystal. 10 years ago I would have said they were OK for the money but not now. You are better off with a Seiko or one of the small indies that are out there.

When I need correct time-keeping, I wear one of a few Casio Solar Atomic watches fed by the radio signal from the U.S. Atomic Clock...always correct, never need batteries. When time needs are more relaxed, my Rolex looks fine, and provides a reasonable approximation of the time, which experience and Rolex repair have shown is the corporate standard. Like a sorry Jaguar owner of years past, never another Rolex!

But just to recap, I've got an Omega Speedmaster, Omega Seamaster, Baume & Mercier Hampton, Longines Heritage, Maurice Lacroix Pontos, Gucci G Metro, and a Casio G-Shock Big Combi for active events.

Old school gold and steel champagne face Omega Constellation. Looks dated and a little less masculine than the newer ones but it works for me.

Agree if I need very accurate timekeeping I would use either an atomic or a superquartz. But it isn't all about timekeeping, there have been times when I had not worn the same watch two days in a row for months so they would be set using my Atomic desk clock. To me it is the quality of workmanship in a fine mechanical watch. How could you not love this. Heat blued screws and swan neck regulator. The Unitas was worked over by Saphod the same people who tune Panerais

Mine is not a Pani, it is from a small Indie company from the UK called TimeFactors and the model is the PRS-20 LE. Like I said the Unitas movement was brought to Chronometer specs and decorated by Saphod. Only 100 LEs were made. Sending the movement to Saphod is sort of like sending your MB to Brabus, they make it purr and look pretty. I have since replaced the strap on mine for a plain black calf skin, I thought the white stitching was to much but have been thinking about a razorback gator in black of course.

Because of the expense I usually buy only one per annum, similar to those listed above.
