The gas pump is not working!! I tried three different one and now I am sure its my car's problem because other people are not having problem pumping gas....
and this all happen right after I removed my rear seats to apply dynamats...
Did I messed up some sensors???

You mean it clicks off? My dads car had this problem, so annoying. For what its worth if you turn the pump upside down it may work better. I know the cause of his problem was some type of charcoal canister being clogged, however if you were around the area of the components for the gas tank I guess there is a possibility you messed something up. Perhaps take everything apart and give it a good survey make sure nothings knocked or lose.

I think this happens because the tank isn't getting proper ventilation so the gas vapors are going back up to the pump and it cuts off.

Pure speculation (I don't know the design and what anti-theft measures the c-class has in the pipe), but It sounds like something is stuck in the refueling pipe (like LandSeaAir said when gas is coming up the pump shuts off so it doesn't overflow).

And if their an obstruction in the way so the flow gets restricted then it flows over if the flow rate of the pump is to high (think of pouring liquids down a funnel)

I know that a lot of cars have a magnetized(?) hatch that only opens when you let it get in contact with the fuel pumps nozzle, but that is directly visible so you would see if it was that.


But as stated, there is most probably some obstruction in the pipe with that behavior.

oh...I did block a few holes under the rear seats with dynamat...
Is it because of this?? the holes are really small....

it's not the holes.. you crimped the breather hose.. the hose that vents gas fumes out the car.. so now your tank is full of explosive gas fumes ready to burst.. you better take your seat out and see what is what

all this because exhaust drone? lol why get the exhaust in the first place.. sorry just my humble opinion

My biggest fuel problem is the monthly bill. $4.19.9 last week and this isn't even California (luckily).

I don't know how you measure, but the fuelprice in Sweden is currently about 8 USD per US gallon. (2.15 USD per Liter, 15.08 SEK per Liter)

It's all taxes as you well know. Comparing gas prices from place to place is not useful without excluding all taxes.

Yeah the big difference is the taxes ofc.
But if you see to an average income after taxes the prices of gas is still much higher for the swede compared to the american.

In the end its always about what you have left in your pocket that matters.
