I wasn't going to reply originally, as I was always told, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. But since you asked:

1 - The 4Matic badge doesn't match anything else. Different color and such
2 - Way too cluttered in the back, too many badges.
3 - The 4Matic badge is in such a weird place, it obviously looks tacked on and not part of what the car would come with
4 - The whole thing looks stupid.

Maybe I can put a chrome 4matic badge on the rear window right above the brake light..that would look cool and I will get a lot of chicks!!

The same reason no one liked the Germany things you put on your car or the badges you threw on the hood to cover the paint chip...to most people it looks tacky as hell. To you, it looks good...so do it. Who cares what everyone else says, if you like it, do it.

I have seen a tow truck driver start towing my neighbors e320 4matic cause it was debadged...Luckily is stopped him and he put the car down... You know tow truck driver aren't too smart.. I am gonna put a 4matic badge on for that reason

Has anyone with the Saddle Brown interior had their windows tinted? Curious to see how both 20% and 35%, given it's a medium to lightish interior color.

In Ohio you can't go darker than 50% on the front windows...but I figured FTP, I'm breaking the law either way, so 35% or 20% are both on the table.

So, if things pan out with the ongoing acquisition, I'm planning to tint, with a saddle brown interior, to 35%, the legal limit in MA. Will post some pics when the purchase happens.

But let me back up for a minute. Went to the dealership today and was expecting, based on all our prior conversations to zero in on a pre-existing palladium or order a steel grey. However, the first car i noticed in person was a C63 in polar white, and damn was that color stunning in person for the first time. Coming from a white car, like you, Inhartwetrust, the last thing I was expecting was to want another white one, but on a merc like this one, its a totally different ballgame, so there it is. Wouldn't you know it, one of their remaining in-stock C450s was a polar white nearly-loaded one, with the black optics package, and black wheels...I think I'm hooked.
