My build had started with ventilated seats and ended without them. very frustrating, I was looking forward to the cool air in those hot muggy places.
Also, MB started charging for the interior trims. Although the interior package went from 2480 to 2150, they charged me for my Linden Wood trim for $325...ended up saving $4 after all said and done. sneaky sneaky MB..
H07 - Linden Wood Trim has always been $325. Only the 739 - Gloss Black & Aluminum Trim was standard:
These pictures are hard to tell, but the rear light is leading me to believe that these are not LED... you make the call.
Here is the 2016 C-Class order guide for comparison:
I have seen vented seats listed on the specs from a couple dealer's inventories, but I can't say that I have seen or heard of anyone taking delivery of a 450 with vented seats. The build in front of mine (an August build) started with vented seats and ended without them.

Nothing sneaky there at all. The premium woods have always cost more.

I think when the US configurator went up, the wood was a $0 option. We know that the configurator wasn't that accurate on other areas.
Also, the LED thing is interesting because all the pre-release materials stated LED was standard. At least they can more reasonably justify the Premium 2 package, as it was the LED lights (which we thought were standard) and the Burmester, which would have made it just the Burmester.
Feel terrible for anyone who didn't order it, and expected the LEDs standard though....
We ordered the car without the lighting package expecting the base LED lights to be standard like on the C400. I will NOT take this car without LED headlights. Any idea how long before production date the order is locked?

If you ordered the Premium 2 Package, it will include LED lights, just not the Intelligent Lighting Package. The Premium 2 Package includes the following:
LED headlamps and fiber-optic LED taillamps
Burmester Premium Surround Sound System
If you didn't order this package, you will likely get Halogen lights.
Yeah, I thought there was material that stated LED standard. Any idea where we saw that?
I thought it was in the DOG, but 1.1 doesn't show it:
Nice that they include a front end picture with dynamic LED
The C63/C63S DOG does show it:
But back then the only LED lighting available was the lighting package with the dynamic LED headlights. All of a sudden the regular LED headlights were part of the P2 package. It was standard on the C400.
I looked back at the US options list and realized the standard equipment says "632 Partial LED Headlamp System" Might have been the first clue that US and Canada specs were different.
Trying to put a build together and the crappy online US builder is driving me nut with the bugs.
1. Does the Premium 2 package include the "old" 318 Lighting Package with it? Or do I need to add that separately?
2. Does the Parking Assist Package with Surround Camera also include the Rear View Camera?
3. What does the Multimedia package actually offer? Just GPS and DVD capability? I believe I've seen a lot of guys here add it and trying to figure out if I am undervaluing it.
Thanks and sorry for the stupid questions, I'm just frustrated and don't want to continue spinning my wheels with the online builder. All of the changes that have been posted over the last few months in this thread have my memory all mixed up.
This is what I have in my spreadsheet as of now:
$50,800 Base
2,150 Interior Package: Leather Upholstery, Black with Red Accents and Seatbelts
1,520 Premium 2 Package - LED headlamps and Burmester Premium Surround Sound
1,480 Panorama Sunroof
1,300 Carbon Fiber Trim
1,290 Parking Assist Package
925 Destination Charge
850 19" AMG Wheels
500 AMG Performance Steering Wheel
200 Night Package $61,015

I'm not sure what the old 318 lighting package is, but if you want the Intelligent Lighting package on top of the LED package in P2, you'll need to add it as an additional option.
2. Does the Parking Assist Package with Surround Camera also include the Rear View camera
Maybe. I do know the rearview camera comes in the Multi-Media Package
3. What does the Multimedia package actually offer? Just GPS and DVD capability? I believe I've seen a lot of guys here add it and trying to figure out if I am undervaluing it.
I suspect you are undervaluing it. In addition to built in navagation, with map updates for 3 years, you'll also get the 8.4" High Definition screen, voice activation and 10 GB hard drive so you can store music of your own. Here is the complete list of what comes in the Multi-Media Package:
Rearview camera
COMAND hard-drive navigation with 8.4-inch screen
No-charge navigation map updates for 3 years
Voice control
SiriusXM Traffic and Weather with 5 years of service
Fantastic, thanks....I thought one of them included the rearview camera, just couldn't remember which. I remember someone calling out that the one packages value was pretty good given the fact it included the rearview camera. I am going to remove the Driver Assist package and add the multimedia package, I'm not really married to the idea of a surround view camera, although it would obviously be a very good feature to have. For me, I def think the features you listed for the multimedia package > the driver assist.
Last stupid question of the night: What exactly does the Intelligent Lighting offer? It's only an $800 upgrade IIRC, just not sure if it's something I really care about or not.

Again, many thanks for the answers.
It helps illuminate the road when turning and, cosmetically, it also has less amber in the housing.

The look of the lights themselves is worth it (you can scroll back a few post to see the three different types of lights offered).

It also has automatic high beams, the headlights move with the steering wheel (I believe this is what you are saying) and, I believe, the hardware is in place to keep the high beams on partially to not blind other road users as explained pretty well in the video below. However, I am pretty sure the partial beam support is turned off in the states because it has not been approved for use here (those Europeans have all the fun).
Looking forward to seeing some pics! C'mon share, I know your dealer sent you some teasers.
LOL... actual I think he is probably sleeping. But the inventory trick finally worked, and I just happened to check it a little while ago and their inventory went from one to two (and I confirmed the VIN and it looks good). So I should rephrase, "it looks like the car made it into dealer inventory tonight."
I might head down tomorrow to take a look but I need to coordinate driving there the day I actually take ownership or I will have to leave a car there and come back for it.

That's exciting man. Enjoy the first look and negotiate the dealer to call you an Uber when you're ready to take the 450 home.
How exciting is that??!! Take pics when you head over today!! And congrats!!
Thx brother!
Today is looking less and less likely
I am in the process of relocating a restoration project (a 1988 IROC Camaro), it's currently not running and right now it is blocking part of the garage. I have been hearing about it () for the last three days while my new winch was in transit to be delivered.
Winch is here and setup, so once I move the Camaro, I should be good to go.

Screw the winch. Go take pics. Um, did I just say that?? LOL
