Mountain grey is definitely my favorite from that line up

Is there any way a dealer can custom order active LEDs to be put on a car without that stupid package? Can't they order it as a stand alone option as it was for the c450???? I'm pissed

Yup, found that way back when I was searching for Steel Grey pics during my C450 wait. I like Steel and Selenite, back then I preferred Selenite after seeing it on some AMG GTs, now they are both colors I really like.

This thread has some great pics of Selenite on the new 63 Coupes. Looks pretty damn solid.

You'll never need driver's assistance until one moment when you really need it. At that time, you will be glad you have it.

DA package is what $2-3k?

I once was in a serious car accident that the modern MB DA package may have prevented. The 48hr stay in the ICU was covered by insurance. The cost was over $40,000 in 1998 dollars. I had no surgery required and only minimal physician follow up. Being a 20yo at the time, some broken ribs and a contused lung only took a few weeks to recover from. It could have been much worse.

Still think it's a bad investment?

Would like comments on my previous question about the gloss black spoiler lip - just don't see how it "fits" with certain colors -the only combo I like is metallic black with carbon fiber - but certainly adds (unnecessary) cost. On other subject - did see the blue on a dreary day with clumsy 18" wheels- but wise to see it first - plenty of C300's starting to show up. On a sunny day - will look better - but as someone stated - not outstanding if you wish to be different - as the BMW Estoril blue

Same day I saw the blue C300 - saw it in Selenite grey. It's somewhat "dull" - since there was a 2016 MB in Palladium Grey near it which looked not only lighter = but had more of a "pearlescent" shine to it. Much ncer in my opinion.

The matte finish Selenite Grey Magno looks positively badass. Not getting that color is my only regret about not waiting for the C43.

Matte finish paint adds 10hp to an AMG car, FACT!

We have the gloss black with Palladium and black split-spoke 19's. Looks amazing and turns a lot of heads.

I believe it's only available on the Edition 1s in the US from the order guides I've seen, but not 100%. I do know the matte paint is a beast to keep clean which would make me shy away from it...plus it kind of dulls the lines out a bit.

Where are you seeing these only coming with a black spoiler lip? I've only ever seen a matching lip or the optional carbon fiber?

I saw a Selenite Coupe in the flesh a couple months ago. They were corporate cars just visiting area dealerships. It sort of splits the difference between the old gray and Palladium. Rich looking color. Very elegant.

Pics of it on the 63 Coupe look outstanding, great color and an awesome shine to it. JPMBenz, who generally knows his stuff, said it reminded him a lot of the old Designo Graphite which was a great color IMO.

Was just going to post the same thing. I think The C63S Edition 1 has a black spoiler, but not sure anything else does.

AMG board is saying AMG had said the 63 Coupe will have an improved exhaust note over the Sedan. Naturally this makes me curious if that same will trickle down to the C43s or not...probably won't know for a few months at this rate, but, it's something else to look forward to finding out.

I could have sworn I've seen this noted in several places - but I cannot find. Could I be wrong with this - and its just the side mirror caps I've viewed as being gloss black and "assumed" the spoiler was the same? The only pics I see now have carbon on both - the Geneva Auto Show had the car in metallic black with carbon and it looked fantastic (in pics) , NY Show also had car in white with all carbon. Where have you seen matching?Anyway to find out specifically? I'm happy to be wrong.

The window frames and mirrors are black, that's all. Here is a C43 from the German configuration website tool...also a Google search for "C43 AMG Coupe" will show MANY other pictures with a matching rear deck lid, excluding those showing vehicles with the carbon fiber kit. I think you've had a false alarm, so you should be excited to learn of it!

My dealer said maybe late June or some time in July, they should have the price released.
