COMAND 10.25" Screen Upgrades
Do you figure out to make "ok Google" works on the head unit?
On my device, the voice match option is locked, so I cannot activate "ok Google" on any screen.
When I start the Google app, the "ok Google" works from the Google search interface... But it will be terrific if it can works from any screen.
Same on your side?
Regarding the install, what tools are needed? From what I've seen, a T15-torx screwdriver, pry tool, and a Phllips screwdriver. Is that all? And optionally, a piece of tape to stick the GPS antenna to the center dash speaker grill?
Also, regarding the Burmister system, am I correct in saying I specifically have to unplug the fiber optic connectors and plug them into the new connector? Everything else is "standard" in that I don't have to do anything special?
It comes with a one year warranty, doesn't it?
I have ordered this one, it says it supports AV-OUT

Here is an app on the play store that resolves that issue. It is a background app that can't be opened. It's based off the sunrise and sunset times in your time zone. Sometimes if you restart your phone and the app isn't working, you just click on it and you'll see a new notification for your sunset and sunrise times.

I used a vibrator to find the buzzing noise that this 9.33" android screen was making. For those who bought this screen, I added felt tape next to the plastic blue port and in between the metal and plastic. This stopped the noise. I pulled this screen out and put the old one back in out of frustration. After a couple days I absolutely couldn't stand the garmin sd card navigation, lack of android auto and the overall god awful infotainment system, and figured I'd give this one more try if I could fix it. My 15 Hyundai Sonata had Android Auto and a bigger screen. I can't believe that it's taken until now for Mercedes to make led lights and android auto standard on expensive luxury cars. Why would any luxury car not have things like that standard? Even a base c300 should come standard with the larger comand screen, because you can spend a lot less and still have a larger screen than this midget tablet mounted to the dash. Mercedes makes a beautiful car and I love the design, but they severely fail at infotainment systems.
I bought this version instead of the 10.25" screen because it has 3gb instead of 2 and android auto displays properly on it. From what I've seen, android auto looks stretched out on the lower resolution 10.25 wide screen.

Unfortunately it only has celcius/kph unlike the android 8.1 version from dmpcardesign. I'm checking with the seller (Shenzhen Merryway Technology Co., Ltd) to see if they have a newer version yet.

And the third picture is Android Auto with the Google assistant. You can see the format fits perfectly fine in a 10" screen, but this is not yet available.

Wow, thanks for the awesome reply! If the widescreen version of android auto was out or at least has a release date, I would have bought the 10.25" screen instead. It has much better support from great sellers like carlife mall.
Here is a picture of android auto through the carplay dongle displaying perfectly on the 9.33" screen.
Also, with the newest carplay app and dongle updates, you can program the command knob or other buttons in your car to skip songs, play songs, summon google or siri voice, etc. It's fantastic. I can now skip songs without touching the screen while I'm using google maps. I don't have to worry about the screen hearing me say, "ok google" when the music is up and I'm on the highway.
