Service A vs. Service B (Am I missing something?)
it seems both are basically oil changes, with B including the change of the activated charcoal dust filter.
As I'm sure you all know, the price difference between the 2 services is outrageous, with the B costing $200 to $300 more. And for what, a filter replacement?!
Also, if you look at the list, it seems they perform many more checks with the A service than the B. So what am I missing here? Why would I ever choose the B over the A? I can just order and replace the charcoal filter myself, and the B doesnt even get all the service checks?! WTF?
the brake fluid is listed as a separate service, not as something included in service B.
Are you going by the dealership website? That's probably not accurate.
The MB sheet shows brake fluid at every B service, which is every 20k miles or 2 years.
I can print out a full maintenance sheet from work but it's the same as any other car in regards to the brake fluid being in the B service.

Costco is a good way to go, dealerships are notorious price gougers on tires (and everything else
I'm not sure if a 4 wheel alignment is really absolutely necessary every time the tires are replaced if one isnt experiencing unusual tire wear. Michelin and Bridgestone are great tires and I've ran both brands over the years on my BMW's with positive results.
