Winter tires and rims suggestions
I'm planning to get the Michelin X-ice3's from Costco, does anyone have any other suggestions or any cons about these tires?
What size tires and rims should I run? 17" or 18"?
Costco sells steelies for cheap(but very ugly), where's the best/cheap place to buy rims for the winter? I'd rather not get something too expensive since winters are pretty harsh here.
Thanks
There are many sites where you can check the suitability of whatever you have in mind.

I'd just put your winter tires on the OEM wheels rather than buying a whole new set of rims. Unless you can put some 15s on there and really drive the cost of the tires down enough to make it worth it but I don't know how small you can go on c300 brakes.

My biggest advise I can give out to anyone leasing is to shelf their run-flat tires right away. Put a few thousand miles on them but make sure you can turn the car in with them and the dealer won't say anything. Reason being that their lifespan is garbage along with their ride quality. So when you're at the end of the lease, do you want to look back and realize that you ran the crap RFT's the whole time and have to replace them (costly compared to non RFTs) or would you rather run great performance tires the whole time and then return the car with full-treaded run-flats?
