2017 C43 Buttons not working
Please any help would be very much appreciated. So I have a 2017 Benz C43 Sedan and always wanted apple CarPlay. I ordered a android 12 unit and watched some YouTube videos and thought the process is pretty easy, I installed the unit and noticed my scroll button, track pad, dynamic select, volume scroll, auto stop button weren't working and even the media, radio buttons on the console as well. I thought maybe this was a bad android harness and swapped back all to OEM with the head unit but I still have the same problem. Uploading a video of the problem please any help on what fuses to check would mean the world to me or what could have went wrong. Thank you

My first thought is that the connector(s) for these modules either got disconnected and not reconnected (or possibly incorrectly?) or dislodged somehow.
I would pull the console cover and trace the harnesses/connectors from each of these modules to the connectors for both and make sure your physical connections are good.
You may know this, but swapping to an aftermarket Android screen does not physically have any relation to these 2 items you have that are not working.
Beyond that, it could be the circuit fuse, but why would it trip/burn? Strange.
Good luck!

Hello,
What I see in the picture is that you should not be able to put the console all the way on the side when it is still plugged in.
Follow my Red Line; if you follow it you will see a White Plug that have a hanger on it. unplug, both ends and look at the wires and I bet you will find one that is damaged.

Yep, because the problem he is having is controlled by that white plug. If there is any damage to the plug, the console will not work.

Yep, you have to correct plug, now remove the plug hanger and pull out the black plug part and look to make sure all the PINS are sitting correctly.
All the wires labeled as LEONI are for your illuminated lights. If that cord is damaged in anyway, it will cost around $120 on eBay and or $180 from MD directly.

Okay, yes, check the fuse if the cable looks good. I would also do an continuity test on the PINs from the Black to the White Plug. Just to make sure for certain that there is in fact no break in the wire that you can't see but from what I see from the pictures, they look good but you are also in the right place since that is the cord that powers the center unit. I'm not sure which PIN in the car is the power PIN or what they all do, but I think you can test the wiring for continuity, check the fuse and if everything is still not working, there must be a bigger problem.
If continuity is good, you can sure be 100% that there is not problem with the wiring.

Gave up and took it to a shop and $500 later they fixed the issue and this was all within 10 minutes, it looks like it was a blown fuse as the tech did not even take apart the centre console apart. He told me he repaired the modules but I am pretty sure if it was done within 10mins that it was just a blown fuse. Thanks ya'll for the help though
