55 supercharged engine will be history. 63 is the replacement not an option.

Will the Twin-Turbo 6.3 be put in CLS 63 ever?
Since Benz is working on the twin-turbo 6.3 AMG and a twin-turbo 6.9 8-cylinder engine also, the former of which should have I guess around 580 or 600 horsepower and 664 or more lb/ft of torque (the latter will have around 700 Horsepower and close to 900 lb/ft of torque), will they put atleast the twin-turbo 6.3 liter V-8 into the CLS 63 or maybe wait and put it in later?

The current CLS 55 is mighty fast, so can you imagine a twin-turbo CLS 63 or a twin-turbo CLS 69? Or even the current 65 SOHC 3-Valve V-12 would be devastating in it also.

Wonder how fast a CLS 69 would be, or how fast a CLS 65 would be with the same engine mods in it that Treynor has done to his SL 65?

Speaking of which, what's the very latest horsepower and torque ratings for Treynor's SL 65? He's been continuing to get upgrades and tweaks for his car, hasn't he? Man that car must have 800 or more horsepower by now and God knows how much torque? 1,000 lb/ft? More? Less?
Any new vids of Treynor's SL 65 destroying any would-be challengers?

This model is coming 100%. Just the fact that its already in the Star Diagnostic system is proof. I am ordering a CLS63 as well to replace my ruined CLS55, just waiting for the dealer to get back to me on the procedure as the car is not due out for at least 6 months.

Hopefully we will see a CLS63 Biturbo. A 6.9 is def said to be in the works as well but the compression ratio of 11.3:1 on the 6.2 and whatever it will be on the 6.9 will not fly with forced induction unless they lower it. Of course, this is AMG we are talking about and the problem with undoubtedly be solved if they want to produce Biturbo versions of either, or hopefully, both!

I'd rather see them make the cars more of a complete package: A chasis to handle all the power, better steering, handling, brakes etc. I'll keep my HP and TQ right where it is and be thrilled to have the above addressed. Then I can still kick *** in the 1/4 as well as the "twisites" God, I hate that word. It would be great if AMG really shoved it up BMW's ***.

On a waiting list here as well. Still may try to get a bargain on a 55 after the 63 releases.
By the way how are things going? There are some real nutcases out there.

You should really drive the new CLS55 or at least an 05/06 E55. CLS55 includes an air suspension system and tighter more responsive steering. These were some of the many refinements from the year you own.

Drove them at the AMG challenge in August. Many there, including Jeff Andretti and Tommy Kendall did not think the CLS handled better than the E. I was one of them. May be different, but not better. Now don't forget, this was on a road course, at full tilt. "Normal" driving on the street may be different. Spent a few minutes in Alex's M5 yesterday - Oh my God, that thing handles like a go cart compared to our cars. Unfortunately none of the AMG cars can hold a candle to the M car when it comes to feel, steering, etc. But then again, that torque and HP is addicting.
