LOL. I am a newbie to this pix posting, my earlier attempts would have required you to back off 100 feet. Those were huge. So I decided not to waste bandwidth and incurr someone's wrath. Anyway, you can click on the thumbnail to get full size picture.

Besides, you see 1 you see them all :-)

I drive one and I'm always checking them out on the road. Breaking my neck saying to my wife, did you see that CLS???

She just looks at me like I'm crazy.

For me, I think the fun is in the search. My newest project is a 1970 Chevelle SS 396/402 4 speed.

My dream car.
Well maybe not when compared to any of today's high performance monsters.

Best of luck with the CLS!

Thanks Mike,
The muscle car is purely for sentimental values. I came to the US in 1975 dirt poor, went to high school and drooled over the cars. Now that I have the means, I have been trying to do something about getting my hands on the golden muscle cars of the past. They are not much performance-wise to the current highend cars, but they are loads of fun and I can fix them, and the right ones actually GO UP in price. I've recently gone through a 66GTO 389 6 pak, 69 Mach 1 351 Winsor, 68 Camaro SS/RS 396 4 sp, 73 Trans Am 455SD.

The 1970 Chevelle SS 396/402 4 speed in blackcherry red/white stripes and black bucket interior with full gauges dahs and working cowl induction hood is what I want. Not a 454 LS6, too much money although they will continue to appreciate... Driving wise the 396 is a little nimbler. Hard to find a real one with documents for under $80K.

Now back to the CLS55, it's fun and comfy. My son loves the dynamic seating. Told me though... "Not as fast as the Corvette". Sorry, don't mean to start another AMG vs. whatever war.

Cheers.
