i dont think the meisterschaft exhaust is necessary, it probably wont yield any gains and your oem one is already made by eisenmann. (meisterscaft used to distribute eisenmann but they got caught copying eisenmann designs and branding them as meisterschaft, so they lost the rights).

id get the midsection kit from vadim instead, it also comes with an x-pipe.

for the HE you can save a lot more going my route but i have not installed yet and cant get back to you on fitment for another week or 2.

definitely get the 82mmTB but keep in mind u will have to modify the CFairbox in order to make them work together.

u may also want to consider long tube headers.

Thats some really good information im not willing to pay over $2000 for just sound if my stock exhaust is just as good. Also i would hate to have to modify a $2000 air box to make a $3000 throttle body work. I may just skip the air box and do the throttle body what do you think?

Im going with what i hope is all shelf mods. All the vendors that are offering LT headers seem to not be very organized and can only offer sketchy information for them at best.

Originally on the E55 I had Kleeman shorty headers then switched over VRP long tube headers...FWIW. I was always under the impression (experts tell me if I'm wrong) that LT tended to yield more gains than shorties...

those are nice looking headers!
did u notice a big difference when switching over to them from the shorties?

i think it would be better to have the airbox with the 82mm TB (it shouldnt cost 3k unless u get the renntech one). it was not too hard to make it fit. if u dont want to modify the airbox at all then u can go with the 80mm TB.

It was much throatier and the low to mid rev range seemed stronger...I already have VRP 80mm TB.

skip the mufflers do not need them.
i would go 82mm tb and get a rentech airbox to go with it

alsoif you are going kleeman headers your going to be cutting and welding any way.
LT's might be a better investment but will cost more and are much harder to install & get fitment right

TB= throttle body
LSD= limited slip differential
LT= long tube (headers)
shorties= short tube headers

hope that helps!

i think the VRP x-pipe is made by vadim. i have two of them (one ordered bought as a VRP xpipe and one as part of vadim's midsection kit) and they are the same size and look the same.

anyways the second one i have is brand new and for sale if anyone wants it.

kleeman k2 headers are in between the shorties and the LTs. i guess u can call them a mid length header. they are a bit longer than the bolt on shorties and they also come with a downpipe that you use to replace your primary cats. keep in mind that a tune is needed otherwise a CEL will occur with the cats removed and u will also need to do some cutting and welding.

here is a pic of the renntech shorties i used to have and the second pic are my kleeman headers, (i wrapped them).
