Anyone surprised when you tell 'em "it's a V8"?
When I picked up my car today from the shop that put new tires on, the guy at the counter said he really liked my car and all the guys at the shop want it!
I thanked him and then told him it's got a V8 and his eyes got big and he was totally surprised. After telling him how many horses and torque it had his eyes got even bigger and said "are kidding me!?" He was really surprised.
I love the sleeper effect this car has! Just thought I'd share.

The E is even better as it's bigger and "boatier"....S65 must be the best of all time.....this massive car toasting just about any stock production car in America....that was JUST ABOUT any....please no "what about this car" posts

just in the last two days while walking to my car in the parking lot, i have been stopped twice to talk about my car, regarding size, hp, tq, and both have been completely suprised, the odd thing is that, they both had driven E55, and others like it, but new nothing about our car. I love it, it's such a sleeper

Definitely in category "ultimate sleeper" on my book (plus it only has twin pipe, unlike dual twinpipe on W203 C55 :p )

Absolutely, V8 should give 500hp. v10/12 gives 600hp.
I am doubt .... I dont have friends who have cars with more than 160hp anyway. :p

I still think the s/c v6 is a better engine than the v8 in the c55 - the only thing that can exceed the low - mid range grunt from my c32 is an e55, not the c55.

So what happens when the C55 (M113 4.3,5.0,5.5L)gets supercharged? 
Without the S/C ,your V6 is just an ordinary_ _ _ _ _ V6!The NA 5.5L motor still puts out more TQ than the S/C V6 in the C32.

technology's changing everyday...no point to argue which engine is better. If it's me I'll take the boxer 6 twin-turbo from the mid 90's or the 3.0 liter twin-turbo V8 from the 1980's anyday.
