I remember there was talk of running a 192mm pulley. Not sure how much boost that translates into.
What size Pulley was Vadim running when he started to see the SC clutch slip?
I am very interested in this pulley. I have upgraded my cooling with a much larger secondary heat exchanger adding ~1 gallon of coolant to the system. Additionally I have added a CM90 pump. That pump is a very tight fit on the SLK32.
I am currently running the ASP pulley's and was considering going back to ASP to build me a larger Crank pulley to up the boost.
This looks like a better option. Do we have any pricing?
Very interested in the before and after numbers on Erics install.

Are you using the numbers in that thread to calculate your boost? With the Renntech Pulley carchip showed I was at 30.3 PSI. With the Leading Edge Motorsports Pulley, I'm at 32.8 PSI.
I thought it was:
30.3 - 14.7 = 15.6 PSI - Renntech Pulley
32.8 - 14.7 = 18.1 PSI - Leading Edge Pulley
Please help me understand this software.

The S/C is spinning within 2000 RPM of redline. I wouldn't go any larger...
I know it sounds like alot, but with a near 20000 RPM limit, 18k is mighty close.

I am very interested in seeing the power this pulley puts down compared to the RENNtech or stock or whatever the baseline is going to be.

Awesome! I use carship too.

Last night I went to Moroso to run some 1/4 times, and look what data
Carchip Pro logged for me.
A bar in psi / lbs = 14.50326, while the exhaust parameters are 14.7

Also, I changed my settings, Hard Acceleration is set on .75G & Extreme
Acceleration is set on .99G
Take note on the 5th run I went to pick up my slip and drove out of the track
to the gas station.

Let me just say that one of my projects involves the SC pulley...I have been actively working on this one and hopefully will have some news to release soon...

if you are going to switch over, then i would suggest putting the stock setup back on and then running the Leading Edge setup...that way you can sell your evosport pulleys as a set...

I agree 100% By swapping the pulleys, you will in turn have a new set on your car. Nothing like fresh bearings.

On a side note, there is another advantage to the LET Motorsports Pulley. The pulley is a 3 piece design with a removable hub. Look at the pics...
This means that you can install a 185mm pulley and if you decide to upgrade that even further, all you have to do is remove the belt and remove the pulley from the hub, not the car. This is done by removing the HEX bolts from the hub. Think about it...you can upgrade your pulley later on without having to break the crank bolt. This means that anyone can do the install in about 20 minutes.
Or, if you want to put your car back to stock for whatever reason, you can get a stock sized pulley for the hub.
Not to mention the weight benefits! This pulley only weighs 4ozs more than the stock pulley!!

I double checked my numbers and you are making more boost than me with the larger pulley.
Looks like I'm now in need of more boost!

Erick got it right!
I can't explain why the boost spike, anywhere from 25psi to as high as 35psi
(on other logs).
I've tried using this CarChip Pro on my 03 Evolution Lancer and it won't read
the Intake Manifold Pressure, but I know I'm running 1.5bar or 22psi.
I'm gonna send Davis.net a email tonight when I get home, I hope they can
explain why the boost spike and can't read off my EVO8's boost readings.

OK, we got most of the work done this weekend. I wanted to thank everyone for coming by the house and helping out.
Thanks to:
1FastC32 - Dude flew in from Houston to help me out!
P_Rossi - Thanks for lending a hand....I know you had a late Friday!
C32Used - Thanks for clearing your schedule and making time to come by!
Vadim - Thanks for answering the phone!
_PTE_ - The thermostat works great!
I'm sure my neighbors thought I was running an MB dealership most of the day.
Here is what we got done:
1. Larger Heat Exchanger - Done! This thing rocks!!
2. Evosport Sway bars - Doing these today.
3. Ported / Polished Supercharger and Intake Plenums - It looks awesome!!
4. New IAT sensor - Done! easy replacement
5. Transmission Flush with new filter and fluid - Done! easier than I thought
6. Porterfield R4S Brake Pads - Decided to take it somewhere to get done.
7. Secret Mod that will be released soon by 1FastC32! - OMG was this a pain in the ****.....will have dyno numbers soon.
8. C&R Racing Radiator - Not done Didn't make it to me in time
9. Modded Thermostat - Thanks _PTE_ for hooking me up! Easy to do with the car apart.
We only ran into a few problems. Some where easy to overcome, but there were a few that took a bit of thought.
I ended up not using the ported intake plenums because MB was right, they were warped. After we swapped intake plenums, the car ran perfectly. I had a rough idle for a few minutes last night, but for the most part, it seems like a different car. The car pulled harder than ever on the way to work this morning, and the rough idle is almost nonexistent today.
We took a few pics and I will try to get them posted up later.

Its kind of hard to feel power due to my stroke but I feel the C32 and can't wait to test drive Jerry's car one day when all is done. Hey P_Rossi if you are ever in my area again you are welcomed to stay at my house so you don't have to stay at a hotel or take that long trip to Aurora ok.
