hey guys, thanks so much for the continued interest in this project...

it is still in the works, as i have been waiting on some designs to come back right now...it is a slow, tedious process that is driving me absolutely crazy!

BUT, i know that you will be very pleased with the results...i can not disclose what i have in the works right now, but i promise it will be worth the wait!

thanks for hanging in there...

Come on long tube headers

Not being in Cali I don't have to worry about a visual inspection.

also interested in this...

hoping that it's a "shorty" set-up though, as we do have annual inspections here in PA - I also like the idea of mods that are fairly "bolt-on" and therefore relatively easy to convert back to stock, if ever need be...

so I'll be one (of the many...) anxiously awaiting further info next week!

Cya...

i had a great meeting with the fabricator today! this guy is good and this project will be a walk in the park for him, considering that he works on mult-million dollar projects and my friend (he is a welding inspector) that referred me to him said he has never seen a defect in this guy's welds, ever! he is the best!

He is going to do a little research on material and get back to me at the beginning of the week. once he does, then i will place an order for the appropriate material and we will get together to fabricate the headers.

the time table that i am looking at to have a prototype set done and on the car is 2-3 weeks, mainly because i have a feeling it will take that long to get all of the material together (mainly the flanges produced)...he is ready to do it and can get together with me whenever once i have all of the materials gathered for the prototype set...

i will continue to update this as i have information...

430- i have a set of SLK manifolds coming in, once the C32/C320 project is done, then i will start on that one...once we get the first set fabricated, the rest should be fairly easy...

The biggest problem with the SLK32 for headers is the tight engine compartment.

Looking forward to seeing the headers and the results.

i know, i have seen it, but it is not going to be a problem...i actually wish the C32 had this kind of design from the factory, it would make it a lot easier...

Also very interested! Of course would like to see price and dyno when available. Hopefully these prices will be a little less....inflated. Even with low production the current market price on headers for us is rediculous.
