what does it take to convert to xenon?

u'll need to take off the front bumper and then install the Bi-Xenons. and then go to the dealer or some one to set the Xenon's to be present in ur car. other wise the light will not fire up properly

The task of installing headlights is straightforward. If you feel compelled to DIY, set aside about three hours to do the deed. Before installing mine, I helped another member (emrliquidlife) with his just two weeks prior. It is not challenging. Do you currently have the halogens? Is so, as Harry posted, the omnipresent electronic spirits will require reprogramming from halogen to xenon via DAS, either from a mod-friendly dealer or a competent independent technician. If you are merely planning to improve light output and night vision, I have a pair of frosty xenons that I’ll practically contribute toward the cause of any MBWorld gentleman in good standing. Should you care to upgrade to the latest and greatest in worthwhile W203 goodies, a set of Euros from MBenzNL is easily justifiable, wherewithal permitting.

The 2003+ BiXenons are the clear lens lamps.
The 2005+ Halogens are also clear lens lamps.
All fit in your car. You should be able to get the 2002 Xenons for a deal.
