HPS GEN II finds cure.
For all you guys who are suffering poor performance from your HPS Gen II kit, I have an answer! It's www.Gintani.com!! They can replace any of the faulty parts and coupled with ECU tuning or FMU solution overcome the flow restrictions and fuel issues as well!
When he is done with my car. I could be looking at 480rwhp. Scheduled to be done in a week.
Tell them AMGSC sent you.

Wow. The kit is going back in. Another HPS thread start!!! Can't wait for the daily readings like last time. Hope you have better luck this time. Man, you are a rock when it comes to seeing something through. You just don't give up. You should apply that to buiness more than HPS products though.
What happened with Vadim??

I am considering letting Gintani either drop a E55K motor in it, Twin-Turbo it or let them develop a Kenne Bell or Whipple SC kit for all V8 motors. Stay tuned. These guys do some crazy sh*t and their facility is IMPRESSIVE. One of their specialties is engine swaps and customized engines/turbos/big bores, etc...I am personally going to try to squeeze a repaired 600 or 65 motor, bore it out to a 7 or 8 litre then finish it off with a ECU/TCU tune. These guys CAN DO IT and have DONE IT.

It sounds like you don't know what you're going to do. I know you don't listen to advice, but I'll try offering it once again anyways.
The W203 is now an old body style. Don't drop a lot of money into an old car.

I have thought about that seriously. Thanks for reminding me. I just don't like losing very much. Ok, if it doesn't make 450rwhp then I'll sell the kit for $3500 to the C43 guy and drive around with the Kleemann stuff as is until I find the next modestly priced supercar that is MORE MOD FRIENDLY. One thing I DID learn is that C55s are definitely not that. I have to remember that my next car better have lower compression and strong internals. I'm actually thinking about a modded M5 or RS6. I don't think the C63 will be very MOD FRIENDLY either.

What do you guys think about an 2006 SL65
I bid $80K on a Renntech 2005 SL65 with Lorinser body kit and Renntech ECU pushing over 670hp with only 3,968 miles. The Buy-It now price is $140K. What is a good max bet. I am not going over $100K. What is a good fair price without overbidding? Fletcher Jones has a 2005 for $99K with 11K miles. I think I'll post a WTB on the SL65 section?
