Hey Mike
My c32 is lowered and i had to add 5mm spacers to prevent the wheels from rubbing against the strut when I turned left. However make sure they are hubcentric. My spacers made my steering wheel shake at 60 mph. It made the one wheel that is a little bent drive worse. I purchased spacers that said they were hubcentric but I dont think so. I'm going to let A rim shop check them out

If you are lowering the car with just springs then you will not need spacers no matter how low you go. If you are installing coilovers then you may need a spacer in the front to clear the strut.

Your signature says you have the H&R cup kit which would imply you have aftermarket shocks which do not have the indentation on the shock body for extra clearance hence the need for spacers.

Best
to get the right et rim in the first place, proper offset insures no need for spacers and on our autocross car the tech's will not even pass the car on inspection with wheel spacers.Safety issues .

i already have 19's I still want to push them out more. I want them right up to the fender. I have a friend who did this to his 06 m3 on 19"s and the car looks sick!

No I have the indentation on the struts, so it must be stock, therefore I need to change my sig. I was told by the previous owner the car had the cup kit. Thanks for clarifying

pushing the rims
out for looks puts a real strain on the wheel bearings and plays havoc with proper alignment .Get the correct rim width and ET and then you wont need the spacers and the suspension will like you for it
