I used to own a stock 01 IS300 also and have nothing bad to say except its lack of power. That car should be able to handle 300hp easy without modding the suspension...

lexus failed at that. which is why i sold it and bought a c55

why not just turbo it?

i thought the manuals can handle 400whp stock and the autos can 450whp stock.

Twin Turbo Project Complete!!

Well, after much work and countless hours spent, Erick has finally finished his project.

Like we said before, the front mount turbos wouldn't fit (I need to lose weight) so Erick mounted the Flintstone turbos in the rear. Needless to say, I don't see much sunlight, or my family anymore.

The car has gained about .002 WHP which is only felt during takeoff or when I have to take a dump.

drop 100whp for each. to have a fully driveable RELIABLE kit, you need to spend around 10k.

Been a long time since I looked at boost controllers but Apexi used to me great units. They had a very nice feature of being able to make boost gear dependent. So you could limit boost in first gear to help with traction.

Does this mean you're changing the outer-ring of your LET crank pulley down to the same size mm as the stock pulley, or are you taking the LET pullies off of your car and putting the stock AMG parts back on?
