carbon fiber Driveshaft

They do have one difficulty in the rear of the shaft with the way it connects to the diff, so they are working on that with the engineers.
Once they solve this, we will be good to go for these cars:
- C32
- C55
- C63
- CLK63/CLK63 BS
- E55/CLS55
- E63/CLS63
Thanks
Brad

$1200 group buy with 10 or more would be a pretty sweet deal I'd jump on.
How about it otoupalik? You have some 32 boys ready to jump.
Well, it looks like we may be able to manufacture the front and rear flanges and C/V joints to fit any modern MBZ. The length of the shaft will be the difference. So, assuming I have accurate measurements from a customer or local car, I can make it for you.
$1200-1500 - still waiting to find out exactly. The additional cost may be due to the rear C/V that they are having to make may add a few bucks. The original manufacturer of the rear C/V's that ACPT uses (who is in Germany, and OE's this piece for BMW/Mercedes, etc) stopped making them.
ETA is realistically 3 months. We can do it quicker by taking your stock shaft and cutting off the flanges and mating them to a CF shaft. However, ACPT does not recommend this for a number of reasons. However, it is a fall back plan.
I am excited as I think it will be a great part for most Mercedes!
thanks
Brad

The last time I called ACPT they said they usually make them 1 piece.

Here are pics of the one for my M3:

Refer to the second to last picture to see what I am talking about above.
Thanks

Edit...
The rear of your M3 driveshaft has a solid disc and the front has a rubber flex disc. Would we have the same type of end pieces as the M3 pictured? Rubber flex disc (OEM type) in front and C/V joint + solid disc in rear?
