Set of Renntech headers are on ebay

I was just on ebay and found a set of renntech headers for sale that will fit a C55. There were on ebay a while back and i had the highest bid on them but then the auction was canceled. So i went with evosport for my headers. anyway just go to ebay and search renntech they are there. and i did some leg work for you by calling renntech to see if they would fit a c55 a while back and they will. Anyway I got nothing to do with this auction as i have my evosports and i'm happy with them. just thought i would pass this on. However i wouldn't be surprised if this seller flakes on this auction again as he did it to me.

I've got the evosport headers as well. They are essentially the same design as the Renntech headers but made of mild steel rather than stainless.

I've had a bad experience with the person selling the headers. I won these previously a couple of months ago, they were set as a no reserve auction and I won for $1,500 with $75 shipping. I tried to pay through Paypal and it said seller is not accepting at this time. I called the sellers cell phone number listed in the auction and spoke with him and I said, "Hello I just won your headers on eBay and I am trying to pay but it won't let me." He said, "Oh they sold already?" I said, "Yes I just won it a few minutes ago." He said, "How Much?" I told him $1,500. He said, "Wow thats it? I can't sell them for that much, thats way to little." I said, "What do you mean you cant sell it for that much, its a no reserve auction." He said, "Yeah I told my brother not to list it as that" blah blah blah and gave me this whole story. I told him he really shouldn't try to pull **** like that and waste people's time. He said if I signed the mutual agreement as well to get his insertion fees reimbursed that he would send me a RENNtech badge for wasting my time. Well I signed it right away, this is now at least 3 months ago, and big surprise no badge. He was nice to me on the phone and sounded like he was sorry, could have been an act though. I would be VERY cautious with this seller though since I do not like how he tried to pull something. Hope this helps.

I've seen that seller list those headers multiple times and at one point I think the auction was starting at $500 no reserve. Sounds like hes awful shady.

And yet he continues to sell on eBay with a 100% positive feedback.

Dangerous stuff...

Well, I might be selling my RENNtech headers in a month or so. If anyone's interested I'll keep you posted.

It looks like he bought these headers, back in May, for just under $1700.

He is just a tool, trying to turn a profit on what he thought was a great purchase.

By the way, the new ebay method of feedback only shows the percentage for the last 12 months. 3rd feedback down shows this turd's true colors.

Just another followup on this guy. I entered a bid on his most recent listing of these Renntech headers last week. He had them listed as a starting bid of $500 and "no reserve" again.
I was using esnipe to go in and snag them at the last second, since there were no bids within a couple hours of the auction ending. I was taking a chance w/ a relatively low bid, but figured I'd give it a shot.

As expected, he ended the auction early since there were no bids above his $500 starting bid, and clearly would not have wanted to accept my $750 offer.

This guy is an idiot! He obviously doesn't understand how ebay works, and he obviously has no real selling ethics. If he sets a "no reserve" auction, then he is liable to accept the winning bid. Personally, I hope these headers become a permanent paper weight on his desk. I wouldn't buy them from him now if he offered them at $500 simply out of principal...

Note to the seller --- if you happen to read this post, here's a suggestion for you. Set your reserve at the minimum dollar amount you're willing to accept for the item. Pick your starting price, and let people bid from there. It's not rocket science.

I told you about this guy that he was no good. He's had these headers forever, and if he keeps getting reimbursed his listing fee's its pretty much like he's listing over and over for free. Real jerk.

Is there no way to report this guy to eBay? The auctions are supposed to be binding contracts, on both ends.

Yeah binding contracts. They don't do enough on eBay to watch this unfortunately. I sell a lot on eBay I am a silver level Powerseller with 100% positive feedback and still get screwed by dead bidders every once and awhile, then eBay doesn't let you file a complaint for a week after the auction ends, then if you complain they give the person an additional week to respond. It's way to lenient of a system in my opinion.

Headers for sale --- AGAIN! Beware!

Just for fun, everyone should go bid $1 over the minimum, and continue with $1 increased intervals so that he'll receive an onslaught of ridiculously low bids.

Eh, well, on second thought, hopefully he won't get any bids...
