B-class already has the B200 turbo. I'm guessing they're now adapting it to all the line-ups. FINALLY!
turbo C350 = C63 what? (not that it'll beat C63, but it'll have good performance while being gas efficient.)

This is being driven by Euro pollution standards (and fuel prices), not nessesarily better (than today's) performance. I'd expect to see a C200 or even a C180, with a turbo or two, to perform on par with today's V6's.

Yeah even American companies seem to be re-discovering turbos also. You can basically get the output of a V8 with a TT V6 and costs for parts have dropped for turbochaging applications.

thats not all there models. The new rs6 is a v10 twin turbo that outputs 570hp. Think about it, a station wagon that can out run a ferrari.
They probably decided on the supercharger because you don't need a turbo manifold, wastegate and huge turbos eating up all that engine space, so they could offer more interior space. Also to keep the maintence costs down.
