C55Asleep? Dyno Run

So yesterday my buddy C55Asleep? went out to the dyno to tune the car. He had about 5 pulls and they were very good. Here are some vids from the action. More videos to come so watch for edits.

The car has Renntech ecu, airbox, pulleys, custom exhaust, headers, cams, & 50 shot. I am waiting to get together with Jerry to custom tune the ecu. While tuning the car on the dyno we kept going up in fuel and the car loved it but we did not have any more nos jets to go with more fuel so I am just getting some stuff together. There is definetly more power to be expected after the tune and some more fuel for the nos. We are looking at about 420rwhp.

good power, but a bit lean?

its hard to make out exactly, but isnt the car running really lean?

If it is running 14:1 air fuels at high revs, isnt the car at risk of blowing up

Mabe it hasnt been tuned yet, so I would get that custom tune right away

Yes it did run lean on that run, so added another fuel jet and got it down to 13:3 which still is lean but we did not have another fuel jet to even put more fuel so now I am waiting on a bigger jet and also for the tune. After that it should drop me to about 12:1 a/f where it should be. The cams had to do a great deal in the a/f when on Nos but with good tuning and correct size jet it should all work out. Btw jet sizes are nos .037 & fuel ended up on .040 going to go to a .042 fuel pump seems to be pretty strong as it holds up at 60psi.

.040 is rather large for a 50 shot. My 150 shot uses a .038 fuel jet and a .067 NOS jet.

I started off with a 55 shot (.019 fuel jet and .032 NOS jet) and worked my way up from that. I have a zex kit so the jets are sized a little larger than the same shot on an NX or NOS kit due to the way zex relays cycle on and off.

I'd love to get on the dyno to see what she's putting down!

I'm too lazy to search. What were the dyno #'s pre cams and are there any other mods between the last dyno and this one besides cams?

Thanks

Thanks Honson, are you planning on doing a Jerry-tune yourself? Maybe we can get Jerry to come to Miami if there is enough people interested in tuning.

So what are the numbers without the nos? And how did you get the slr cams? Lastly are you using renntech headers?

The day of the dyno my mind was set to making the car run as safe as possible on nitrous due to the big difference after the cams. After the car gets tuned I will see how much hp the car is making without the nos. As for the cams, I ended up getting about an extra 6rwhp all motor with just dropping the cams in.I really am not going based on that number until the tune. Cams were picked up from a forum member (PTE). Btw the headers are Kleemann, I preferred them due to the cat delete.

Did you get your Kleemann headers ceramic coated?
