Did ya check and make sure you've got enough brake fluid in the reservoir? Turn the car on, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left. Do this a few times and then turn the car off and then back on. I believe this procedure (or something of the sort) will help recalibrate the abs/esp. (This issue often comes up when your car's battery drains.)
Do a search, the procedures is pretty well documented. If the reset works and the errors go away and come back, ya could have other issues... Keep us posted.

If the
system was disconnected or the battery was disconnected you need to do the procedure above, turn lock to lock and back a few times with the engine running in park. That will reset the steering wheel angle sensor.

i just turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times, and it did not solve the problem.
btw, i just notice a leak in my power steering pump and had it replaced yesterday, would that cause the lights to come on?
any other suggestions?

I don't know but my other benz did the same thing and drove me crazy. It only happened when it was really cold and always went away. Let us know when you figure this one out.
