introduction with pics
. I used to be a bmw diehard (i used to own a pair of M3s), but this amg was one that I always wanted to try out. The car is loads of fun, and i plan on taking it to the track next month. any benz meets in the orange county area? it would be cool to meet other benz enthusiasts in the area. here are some pics of my c55, as well as one of my m3s

heres some of my e36 m3 track car

Thanks guys,
we actually just had a big meet couple wks ago. check the events&gathering forum.
I usually go to this Wednesday meet in Walnut at Grand & Valley at In&Out parking lot around 9-9:30pm. mostly BMWs, but some Benz guys do go.

The C55 in stock form is a capable car on a track if you adapt your driving style to its strengths and weaknesses. It won't have the same grip as your E36 M3 upon corner entry, so the "slow in, fast out" principle really will help. It does have more body roll upon initial turn in than a typical M3, but if you stay committed, it hangs on surprisingly well through the corners....but it's the acceleration out of turns where the C55 really shines (as long as throttle application is quick and gradual). High speed tracks with sweeping corners are the C55's forte, while very tight technical tracks can be more challenging.
