Did you know that the C32 hood goes vertical?
Wow, sometimes you discover things after years that make you feel rather stupid. Did you know that there is a little red button on the driver-side hood gas strut that, if you push it in and push the hood toward the back of the car, the hood goes vertical? Am I the only one who was ignorant about this? It sure makes working in the engine compartment a whole lot easier!

the new cars are now do away with the button btw. you just need to push the hood up. i'm wondering if the the new hood shocks from the 204 will work on the 203. makes it 100% easier than using the red button which on mine it's half the time stuck.

Jerry at LET showed me the button when I first got my car, MY ML 55 does NOT have the "button, " so not all Mercedes have them.

LOL i just found out about this a few months ago.. i was like wtf is this red button OH **** it opens all the way.. haha
It was funny to see the MERC roadside guy change my battery with it not fully up.. I was like dude i can make your job a lot better watch this.. Hes like oh snaps!!

Need help adjusting the hood latch (inside vehicle) on my 2006 c230. I have to really pull on the handle in order for the 1st latch to pop open, then reset handle and crank again to open the other. Where is the adjustment point for the hood latch?

EDIT: The cable near the pull handle inside the car came out of its track. Put it all back together and works fine now....
