C32 headlight w/ headlight washer

I just bought a 2002 C32 with a headlight washer and I am not sure whether my headlights are xenon or not. Does having the washer mean that my headlights are xenon?

I am asking this question cause I am trying to replace my headlights with the 05-06 clear headlights.

If one of you guys has a C32 w/ a washer and replaced his headlights to the clear version would help me here, I would really appreciate it.

American C32's are speced differently to SA where they are full house. If your car has the washers & auto leveling, which were part of the kit then likely it has Xenon headlights with frosted covers. Your ideal move is to fit OE Bi Xenon lights because you have all the kit in place to do this properly. Look for level sensors on RHS front sway bar and RHS rear axle/lower wishbone with a connector rod. I believe that FrankW must have done this. The move to standard clears would be a move backwards in all but looks. This is the kit you need - wish it was a C32

The (Premium?) package sold with the 2002 C32 was headlight washers, auto levelling, and frosty xenons. In 2003 this was upgraded to Bix. This was available on all c-class cars incl the coupe.

I am not aware if US cars had the stand alone option of headlight washers.

If you don't want to go OE then go Depo aftermarket look alikes. Not as good as the real thing but a reasonable compromise.

Will the stock xenon light fit the Depo?

Those are Depo's Note you need to order with Zenon upgrade. Is going for the genuine article more than you want to spend?

I think Steve from MBenzNL does them at about $1100 fully installed & set up on one of his trips to the West or East coast. See what he would charge you if you do all the grunt work.
The Depo's are OK but they don't focus down tight or have the clean cut off of the OE lights.
