Why get the more expensive nology silver plugs when you can get the NGK IX irridium. I assume there would not be much difference because our cars use 12 plugs. I just replaced my stock plugs with NGK IX yesterday because the car was not responding quick anymore when you push the gas, and the difference was incredible. Off the line, every time I barely touched the gas pedal, the traction control triangle came on.

Mine has done this at random times as well. By high rpm misfire, do you mean the car will buck badly, and feel like someone slammed on the brakes?lol Mine seems to do it when I accelerate hard in 1st, let off some and then do a slow roll to redline in 2nd. It's the top of second where it will buck/misfire on mine. Hasn't done it in awhile and I've never received any misfire codes from it.
Are you sure it's your plugs that are the issue and not something with fuel delivery, ignition, distributor, ground, wires, etc.?

Your problem sounds like an old problem I had when I would gun it - I would get slammed. Of course this would only happen when it was colder out side. Turned out it was due to the tune (all ecus aren't created equal) contact Jerry and let him know.. he was able to fix mine.

A few people have told me this is due to the tune. Apparently this is an easy fix for Jerry, we just need to send our ECUs in and he can remove the "bucking".

Hard when I'm in Sydney
I'd so be up a for a Jerry tune.. I'm on full base values on my ESU and I'm just losing so much potential 'free' power because of it.. sucks.

Finally installed these plugs and WOW what a difference. The car feels so much more responsive and rips all the way to redline without throwing cels. I will never know for sure if I gained any hp from these plugs but it sure does feel like I did. Lets see how they do over time but for now
