to the OP:
my car has gone through the dealership a couple times with the pulley on while i was under warranty and never was given a problem for it or questioned about it. they didnt even notice. heck, i even had the code3 intake setup on it and they didnt say anything.....but thats another story.

If one haven't been in this forum, one would say your OEM pulley is nicer then his OEM pulley
. In my opinion Code3 pulley quality is better if not far better then the OEM regardless of all the crap customer service problems they have. Code3 was legit at the time I dealt with them

it will depend on the mechanic and his knowledge. my c3 is gen 1 and has the grooves cut into the splines so its easy to see. whether he cares or not is another story!

not really. it can be a bit tuff if the oem pulley doesnt want to come off but a carefull rap with a dead blow does the trick.
install is a breeze just time consuming getting the spacing right.
WARNING!!! do not overtighten the s/c pulley bolt more than 20 NM as the bolt WILL break!

Just use a torque wrench and you won't have any problems. Installation is simple. After you've done it once, you can do it in 10 minutes. Do it when the engine is completely cold.

c3 doesnt req. a tune or a belt but you will get much more performance from a tune.
also you will know if the bolt is overtorqued because it will break!! 20nm = 14.5 ft/lbs so it doesnt take much to crack the bolt. use a torque wrench
i ran my c3 for months without a tune and thought it was a big inc. in power. then i got a dyno tune from eurocharged and no im breaking traction from a 30 mph roll! torque is unreal 337 ft/lbs at 2100 rpm!
