you can look for a used one in the classifieds section here or on the srt6 crossfire forum (same motor)

you can post up in this section asking if anyone is selling one

i just went to their website and noticed they don't have them for sale anymore. you can try to contact them (good luck with that) and see if they have any extras they might be willing to sell.

here is their home page: http://www.hpautowerks.com/

Didn't even know TVT had a website. Looks like they have some nice goodies on there! Might go with them for fuel system upgrades...

I need a new pully because the backing plate on my pully is coming loose, so machining my stock pully will not solve my problem, unless there is a fix for the loose backing plate

I'm sure there has to be a way to fix the back plate. I have not personally examined the full pulley/electromagnetic clutch design, so can't be of much assistance. If you could provide some photographs and more information on how the back plate is held in place that would help us to help you.

I don't understand how difficult it would be to have a similar pulley made.

This looks like a completely custom pulley and it's suppose to be 58mm.

what would the difference in power if you went with code three, or machining down to 69mm, like Temjin x2 said the c3p pulley is 65mm

Just less boost. Already, the C3 pulley at 65mm is equivalent to a 178mm crank pulley.

Thats pretty cool, so the aftermarket pullies eliminate the electromagnetic clutch?

Nope, I think it's still there. I am assuming the black portion is the electromagnetic clutch, I could be wrong. There has to be a shop that can make one of these pulleys. I'll check around and see what I can find. My dad has an srt-6 and a buddy of his said that he could probably make him a pulley. So I'll see what he says.

The larger black pulley behind the smaller pulley is the electromagnetic clutch. Basically the front pulley free spins on it's bearing until the clutch engages and develops a magnetic field that interacts with the shaft to make what you could call a solid connection. If someone had access to a machine shop with CNC and could source a smaller bearing capable of handling the increased RPM you could likely make a small enough pulley to equal the 185MM RPM. Can someone calculate what the pulley size would need to be in order to do so?

I think the main issue with going to such a small pulley is that you will not have enough area for the belt to grab sufficiently. Even with the regular C3 pulley you would still get some belt slip.

That's an easy fix though either get a smaller belt, or increase the pulley size of another or multiple pulleys.

No, I mean on the supercharger pulley. When you punch it, the belt slips on the supercharger pulley causing you to lose power due to belt slippage.

and there was a reason why Brandon did that!! He had some smaller ones and also stacked ones, BUT they were all throwing CELs. I know of a fellow forum member with 178 and Code 3 and hes always throwing Cels.

154/65 x 6 = 14.2k rpm

185/74 x 6 = 15k rpm

154/61 x 6 = 15.14k rpm

So you need a sc pulley at 61mm to equal a 185 crank.

Damn, so a 58mm supercharger pulley and a 180mm crank pulley would be running 18.62k rpm?
