MBH 3.2 headers
Got me some for my SRT-6. I like what I see so far. Nice welds, cleaned up on the inside etc. Primaries are 1.75", collectors are 2.5" in diameter. I'm doing a before and after dyno with no other changes to my car so stay tuned for the results. Who likes pictures?

It'll be interesting to find out what gains I see on my car. 35 to 40 hp is claimed on the website. My guess is that's over a stock exhaust system. I installed Needswings downpipes last year and saw 15 hp with them. I'll be thrilled with 20 hp at the wheels. I can't wait to find out.

Talk about one of the most challenging drivers side headers to make. We really had to think about how to design it. So you could remove it and install it. These will work on the SLK32 and SRT-6.
As for the C32, we dont actively have a header system available for it. However when Turk is done playing Doctor in Texas and drives his C32 back to Arizona... Ill see about making a header system for the C32. Could be a simple primary tube delete off of the C55 headers.

You could be right. For the C32 Kleemann just removes the two front runners from the E55 headers and supply new downpipes. C55 downpipes should be close, if not exact match.

I just got off the phone with the installer. The car goes in the shop on Monday morning for a few dyno runs. In the afternoon after some cooling off the headers go on. Then, if there no complications, an afternoon duo. With complications the next dyno will be the next morning .... that's the plan.

First take out the 4 cats, and get dyno numbers, then put the headers and get the real dyno numbers for headers, we want to see the before and after dyno with only the headers, not before/after cats+headers.
i have LTH, remember this is the V6 112 not the V8 4 output on each side, you will not get the numbers published on V8 55k forum.
i bet you will not see more then 10-15 whp with only the headers.

I don't have any cats on the car as it sits now. I have the stock resonator and connecting exhaust pipe to the stock muffler. Eliminating the 4 cats got me 15hp. Dynocomp claims 35 to 40 wheel hp so I'm hoping for 20 more hp to the wheels. 25 would be sweet. The graphs will be sent to Dynocomp to use, or not use, as they see fit. I'll check the boost drop too.

I kinda wish I'd kept my mouth shut until it was done. I took the car in just as planned, passed by in the afternoon and the car was being strapped on the dyne. They got delayed. We did a couple of pulls and found a puddle of water/meth under the car. So the first job was finding and fixing. I left them in the process of repairing the problem with a metal solution. I hope another dyno was done with the problem fixed but I haven't called to find out. It'll get finished eventually and I'll post up the results. Once the car is on the lift I assume they'll get-er done as fast a possible.

The pre header dyno (Mustang dyno if it matters) was 336 hp. I don't remember the torque. I'll quote the text I just received on the dyno with open headers. 377.7 whp 355.5 tq about 16.8psi max. Substantial gains everywhere".
Boost dropped from 19 psi and hp increased 40 whp. These things make stupid power!
For reference as to what those 336 Mustang hp mean, my best 1/4 mile is 12 flat at 117.
As usual for me and my complications, the graphs won't be in my hands until Wednesday at the earliest. Now the stock exhaust will be connected and another dyno done to see just how good or bad the stock plumbing from the headers back are.
Sorry this is taking so long. 40 WHP!

When I get all the pictures, graphs, etc. together and organized I'll start a new thread. I've gotta tell you, I was skeptical about the claimed gains from these headers and would have been happy with 15 hp less. MBH headers are the real deal. Even though these headers are for the R170 chassis, the stock manifolds are the same for all the 3.2 engines. So, an extra 40 whp could be yours too.
I plan to run a 1/2 mile event this weekend and a drag rental on the 23rd so we can put to rest the dyno numbers and focus on the mph which is what speaks pure truth.
My best 1/2 mile mph is 139.23 and best 1/4 mile mph is 117.

Also, what mods did you have on your car prior to the headers?

Engine Mod list:
178 ASP Crank pulley
Needswings Pulley saver/belt wrap kit
Needswings dual CAI
Needswings intake manifolds y Y pipe
Needswings downpipes (no cats)
AEM Water/Meth injection
Eurocharged tune
Separated I/C circuit with E55AMG heat exchanger
Stock heat range NGK sparkplugs
The 40 WHP are with open headers as the only change. Now the exhaust system is being connected for another dyno pull. No retune yet.
