Upgrade c55 brake

I want to use my original 4piston brake calipers but i'm not pleased from the rotors. now i'm using ATE discs with Ferrodo shoes. they don't fade but sometimes they 'shake'. not always.
in the beginning i used the OEM rotors with OEM shoes but they were rubbish
I'am very happy with ebc yellow for track and street use. Also new brake fluid and brake line are a good idea.
I think the best rotor are the oem, powerslot looking good but I never try it. Also you can having 2 pieces rotor, but they are very expensive.
I having the same problem with ate and I crack them. I think that vibration are come from the brake deposit on the rotor. Right now, I run ebc plain rotor and it's a bit better. But I am not sure if the ebc rotor are not a basic Centric rotor. It's write the Centric number on them and they are not balanced.
Do you track you car?

I'm currently running Stoptech drilled rotors all around with Akebono ceramic pads. The Akebonos are great for street use and they generate very little dust, but I wouldn't recommend them for track use. Stoptech rotors are definitely reputable and paired with some better pads would prob be great for track use
(with of course also SS lines and fluid).
Planning on eventually doing SS lines and fluid and will probably go with EBC red or yellow. Disc Italia also makes a very nice set of rotors but they are very $$$$. I had these on my C230 and they are very nice rotors.

ATE discs and Ferodo pads are a great setup, IMO. I used to auto-x a VW on those brands and could damn near lift the rear of my hatchback off the ground.
Try the anti-glazing stops before shelling out money.

i've already replaced the brake fluid.
Sometimes i go on track but here we have some 'rally' roads...

I'll try the anti glazing stop. thanks!

Interesting, i got some Ferodo uprated pads, and as you describe.
the shake from time to time.
I´ve been cleaning and cleaning, torquing the rims etc etc.. still sometimes they shake.
Might have a solution to my problem here, Thanks!
but like the saying goes " you get what you pay for"
One thing to keep in mind though.
We offer our two piece rotor customers rotor ring replacements.
Once its time to replace the rotors, the only thing to purchase is our rotor rings.
they come with all the necessary hardware and instructions for a quick and easy ring swap. (Very straight forward!)
our rotor rings come in a pair for the price of $536.90
as opposed to paying $976.18 for the complete two piece rotor.
saving you a fraction of the cost!

If there is enough interest, would Racing Brake maybe do a group buy discount if say, 5 or more people wanted in for a set?
depends if we get enough requests,
if we do we may be able to.

Your website lists the specs and price for the 2118 front rotors, but the link for the 2285 rear rotors take you to a kit for a W204 C350.

1. Do you make a 2-piece rotor for our stock rear calipers?
2. If so, could you kindly supply pricing and specifications?
My fronts are about due for replacement so it's decision time!!
TIA
