# 1 first do the 55 gearbox upgrade just to be sure, then you can go on
chip,sports filter, sports cat. the obvious 55 motor , 55 kompressor.....
It's your wallet, how deep can you dig ?

gearboxes are same part number 722.6, I don't see how that would do anything at all.
It would be MUCH easer to just swap to a 5speed than to go to another auto b/c auto ECUs are meant to work specifically with certain engine ECUs so trying to mix and match is usually not possible.

Build a ram air system by installing two air ducts into the spots where the fog lights are now then run 3" piping up to the stock airbox. Much better thottle response.
In the process clean up the inside of your stock airbox and remove most of the air deflectors in the box and remove the stock screen that is located at the airbox outlet.
Make the ram air tube so that they will spilt into two pieces within the engine bay and that way if it is raining really hard you will not pull any water into the motor.
