Which way are you looking?
Driver or passenger side?

Man
he made it confusing
C43 m113 engine looking at the engine from the front of the car bank1 is on the pass side plug 1 is the first plug.Bank 2 drivers side o2 sensor you want is the pre cat sensor on that side((drivers side)
if you are at 100k miles you need all 4.
www.autohausaz.com has them free shipping over 50 bucks.

I understand Bank relationship to driver/passenger but what's the relationship to left/right?
Left = driver?
Right= passenger?
Looks like I need this one: 15088 Oxygen Sensor - OE Type Before Catalyst Left side?

If your car is the same as a 1999 C43 (and I believe they are both Bosch ME 2.0, as 2.8 wasn't introduced until 2001), change the model year to 1999 and check again. Or better yet -

What
were you code or codes that led you to the o2 issue?Did you check o2 function with a real time scanner for values?Getting smogged you better run the generic drive cycle procedure I posted on the forum or on benzworld.org w210 section or drive it a bunch of drive cycles and read the I/M values before you take the test.I/M not ready for more than 1 or 2 sections in most states will lead to an immediate failure.
make sure if not supplied with the o2 sensor special o2 anti seize that you get some,do not use regular anti seize.
