Speaking of...how did it turn out? It took me a good half day of beer and a friends help to get it to line up just right. I have a feeling that is why Jared ditched it. We did a good amount of tweaking to get it to fit right.
In response to the "saving 50lbs" reply I wouldn't think it was that much. Maybe on the larger MB's but the W202 hood is pretty light. Mabye 25lbs savings..
Dave, you should weigh it considering that none of it's 3 owners have.

well i installed the today, it fit perfectly snug, i was suprised. the hood is by VIS racing check it out
da last two has a black hood, not the carbon fiber, just wanted to add it...

oh well the hood new is 600 i got it for 200, hood is in great condition...not so sure if i want it still tho..it didn't bring the look i was hoping for...
