Probably not.

You want to have the same front to back outer diameter ratio as a 225/45/17 and 245/40/17 or your cruise control may stop working. You should be able to find a tire calculator on google. I used to use the one at Miata.net, but I'm not sure if it is still there.

ok...don't think I'll be using cruise with this car though. Tomorrow I'll take the 245s 18 off the E and see if the fit...just because I've them available..lol...However I will be sticking with the 225s..

Here's pics with the car lowered on 18s now...

Your car looks great , just a little too low in the back. How about so clear corners upfront ?

^ I'll give it a couple weeks and then decide whether to lower the front or raise the rear.

Clear corners, - which vendor/site to buy them from?

I ordered my clear corners off ebay , and had zero problems with either set (C43 & C230k). IMHO - pick the back end up a bit.

kewl..tks...let me see how in #1 looks in the front first. If it's slammed, then I'll raise the back.

Now I've to figure this one out... Guess a cover will have to do, or maybe a red fox.

I had claw marks covering the rear spoiler on my Eclipse, I guess it made a good spot to lay out. I'd definitely try to find a way to stop that if I were you.

i used 225/40/18 in the front with #1 spring pad n i used 235/40/18 in the rear with 12mm spacer coz my rims are not a staggared set up..it rides fine with eiback springs on stock shocks i put a total of 4 frown ups in the car no rubs or scraping at all...
