She's dirty!

she's back from the shop.
she's closer to the ground thanx to vogtland springs and koni shox.
also had all suspension parts replaced on rear axle.
did the same on front axle 2 years ago.

spring pads front #1 and #4 rear.
no rub issues so far.
stance looks great.

my mechanic also did a 4 wheel alignment.
should I expect my springs to drop a bit more when they settle in after a while?
wheelgap is 1 finger space front and rear, which looks vey nice

car have more of a gocart feel when driving her.
she's more planted on the street.
i like the ride very much, koni and vogtland kit is a great combination.
every uneven surface is felt in the car when driving.

shox are set to full firm and NO rattle inside cabin.
she's tight now thanx to nip n tuck surgery.

my mechanic also did the monowiper mod.
this modification is for the heritage of DTM cars back in the 90's
this mod looks really looks cool.

as for the exhaust mod i was mentioning before, my mechanic told me that if he's going to remove the rear cats and resonator, he had to start cutting the exhaust.
we decided NOT to do that in case i want to get her back to original.
I have to buy a tube deleting the resonator but cats will stay in place on my car.

here she is.
pics are bad and she's dirty as h-ll

ZAYED,,
i have to wash her, she's dirty and covered in birdie poop.

btw.
car feels like a new car with the suspension renewed, it's more fun to drive her now than before, steering improved a lot, too bad mb didn't use the same steering system rack and pinion on w202 as BMW did on their cars!!

bigger brakes will be c32/c55 kit, have a new kit at home collecting dust for some years now.
too bad i don't drive my car very much, my pads and rotors still have plenty of meat, dunno when i'm going to do the swap?

+1, with a steering..,,

C32/C55 brakes is a good idea,

if you can put a "C32/C55" front brakes with an "CLK/SLK55" rear brakes, it will be a great harmonization....

ZAYED,,
4 pot calipers front and 4 pot calipers rear, i think this is a lethal combination making the car dangerous braking hard?

people talk about h&r springs sagging?
how many years does it generally take when springs begins to sag?
vogtland #952079 spring kit is not sold for european c43's, although i did buy these and they are now fitted to my car from recommendations here on w202 AMG forum.

are these numbers good enough to carry our cars, i don't want any sag issues in the near future?
remember that european c43's is helluva lot chunkier than US spec c43.
my car i heavier with all extra power options which US cars don't have
vogtland front spring load is 970 kg
vogtland rear spring load is 1150 kg

someone told me if using 4 pot front and rear, then doing a hard brake, car might turn around causing an accident?
using 4/2 combo, 6/4 combo is good, 4/4 combo not sure about this?

The Vogtland springs will settle after a couple weeks. Honestly my C43 felt a little floaty until they settled, after that I felt like a could take corners at 100 MPH

You will drop another 1/8" - 1/4" or so in the coming weeks, this is one of the reasons I went with the #5 and #4 pads. I am still LOW with them on, I can't imagine a #1 in front.

Looks good!!!

you think it will rub on front tires when springs settle?
1 finger gap with #1 pads up front looks very nice now.
rims are ET35 front and rear
what should i expect in a few weeks, a massive drop?
my springs were fitted about 1 - 2 weeks ago.

how much is 1/8" - 1/4" in millimeter?
box said springs lowers 35mm

It could be...!, but with me it didn't happen,,

used the car with 4/4 almost 2 years with many times hard brakes without slipping or something,,

we can say; twisting or slipping around could happen from the brand or a condition of the tires....!!

1/8"- 1/4" = 3mm - 6mm

anyone interested in 4x #1 - 5mm spring pads?
they are 95000km/11 year old which are perfectly bedded in?
they are not worn.
if you go euro spring route with stock or aftermarket shox you will get 1½ finger gap front and 2 finger gap rear.
factory drop looks gorgeous with these pads!

buying new #1 pads will give you a higher stance comparing to mine which gives a better look
