CL600 Calipers?

CL600 Calipers?
I may have found a good deal on a local set of calipers off of a CL600... will these bolt on to a C36? I am pretty familiar with w201 brake upgrades, but I am on uncharted waters when it comes to w202 upgrades.

This is not a picture of the actual caliper I am looking at, but it is the same one. From what I understand, these are the same calipers as the w203 c32? I could be wrong though.

Well, I went ahead and bought the calipers. They were a good enough deal that they were worth it to try out. If they work, I got a cheap upgrade. If not, I should have a problem getting my money back.

These are the actual calipers that I bought. Not sure if you can tell anything from that. I will take better pictures and get part numbers off of them once they get here.

They looks good,
you will need Rotors from C30/C32/C55/CLK500/CLK550/SLK55 with or without p30,,
or you can get less weight Rotors from RB racing brakes..

please see the backside of the caliper housing, there are lots of numbers stamped on the sides of rear caliper housing.
in this picture you can see a few manufacturers numbers
somewhere on caliper housing you will see the 345mm digits

Think he might be talking about me. and getting the piston orientation correct. I had to swap the piston plates and make up some hard lines to get the pistons in the right order and the bleed valve up.

Well, the pistons in the caliper are not equal in size. So if if you just bolt them on the car with the bleed screws up, the larger piston will be on the first piston to apply the pressure to the disc.
Now Brembo/Mercedes didn't design it to work that way. but I've read several people doing it and personally know a guy with a c280 who bolted them on and he swears it's fine. Maybe it is maybe it isn't. It would be nice to see some stopping distance tests and data. I personally didn't run them that way.
The work around as some people do, is to swap the calipers to the different sides of the car. This will get the piston order correct but will point the bleed screws down. As well as require a brake line modification as the stock lines will be too short.
If you do not want your bleed screw down. Then bolt the calipers on the car with the bleed screws in the up position. Then unbolt the piston plates from the caliper frames and swap them to the other side of the car. This will get the pistons in the correct order as well as the bleed screws in the up position. But will still require a brake line modification and touch up paint.
This is why some people just bolt them on the car even with the piston order wrong.
Then use the sprinter brake pad sensors you suggested.

100% agreed, upside down bleeder will create pressure, then pistons & seals will suicide..

what i'm trying to say is, the larger piston kicks in first on rear plate and on the (swapped) front plate smaller piston kicks in first???
am i wrong here?
