Throttle body upgrade

Has anyone gone from the circular throttle body connector to the newer rectangular one? They are both 6 pin so maybe it can be done. Will give it a try but has anyone done it? Would make it easier

Hey bro.,

To go with late model square TB plug, will need to replace:-

"ECU with EIS & Ign. lock /TCU/Engine harness/gear shifter +/-"..

Thanks Zayed. Why can't you just rewire the throttle body?

If i'm not mistaken;

new TB is fully Electric. controlled, but the old style comes with spring (as mechanical) side,

and each TBs got a differ ECU setup control, also DAS fire up is different due to the TCU file & wiring schematic..!

I didn't try that, it could be work, but really can't assure that..!?!,

i swapped everything from 01 "W210 E55" ME2.8 into 98 "W202 C43" ME 2.0,

really was pain job,,

changed many things:-

"ECU/TCU/Engine harness/body harness/lateral sensors/injectors/brake pressure sensor/gear shifter +/-"..

Raise the stock box by 2 inches.
Port the maf plastic housing.
Remove flaps of the plastic elbow.
Port both sides of the throttle body.
Port the manifold intake opening to throttle body.

Step on gas and say bye bye to any stock C43 and other cars. Want more power, put these things to a 5.4 engine.
