Extended MB Warranties Worth It?
I understand that MB will sell a new car buyer an extended warranty that runs for an additional 1, 2 or 3 years and covers the car up to 100k miles.
I assume it wouldn't cover any of the parts that normally wear out anyway, such as the brake rotors.
Any opinions on whether these are a good idea (esp. on an AMG car)?

re:
actually, i researched the extended warranty and apparently it does cover brake pad and rotors. as far as it being worth it or not, i'm not too sure. majority of people i spoke to about this advised me not to get it.

I got an extended warranty on my 2003 clk and it paid for itself. The main thin that was a big factor was that right before I hit 100k I change a couple suspension items that are usually changed at that time uner warranty and didn't have to pay a penny.

I think it depends on your mileage. If you're going to drive the **** out of your car I think it makes sense. If not, the 4 year 50K mile warranty is plenty.

here it says:
"Brakes: Covers all elements (excluding normal wear of discs and pads), including the standard Antilock Braking System."

I have heard the CNA covers more items than the MB extended warranty, and just won a J D Powers award. Dose any one have the CNA warranty here?

It was well worth it. I bought the MB extended up to 100K and it has more than paid for itself. Since my original warranty expired, my car has been in the shop 3 times, and I only have 53K on the odometer at the moment.
On an AMG car, I highly encourage getting it because the parts are in general, more expensive.

Coverage wise, a Fidelity Platinum and CNA Exclusionary are the same. If the policy is exlusionary, it's going to cover everything other than wear and tear components.
