Metallica, to me......its all about is it worth the money
i looooooove the C63, i really do, but when i can get S classes, 650s, E63s and such for LESS MONEY.....then NO, i do not feel the C63 is worth 1440 a month

Ya, thanks for the speech Dad! I'm sure I'm the only guy on here that does some occasional stop light to stop light racing, why don't you hang me for it? I bet you drive a Buick

Right. That was my whole point. To ME, the C63 is a nicer ride than the 650 vert. I was curious what your thoughts were and why you like the 650 vert better than the C63? To be honest, I'd take an M5, SL550, E63, S550, and C63 all ahead of the 650 vert. So, there must be something that you really like about the 650...(actually, with that soft top, I'd probably even have saved a few bucks and gotten the sleeker 650 coupe). Again, I know you're the one who needs to love the car, not any of us, but I was curious what lead you down the route to that specific car.

BMWFS' leases are often better than MBFin's: No surprise there.
MY08s are heavily discounted compared to MY09s: Ditto.
1300+ gushing posts in 3 months to come to this realization: Priceless

He was quoted about $400 LESS before the August rates. He doesn't want to pay it. What's the problem there? This is like finding something in the newspaper for 40% off and when you go to buy it they want full retail, so you leave the store because you were expecting it to be cheaper. What are peoples problems about it.

Actually this is good for all C63 AMG drivers. Instead of a guy who tries to showoff his C63 with his amazing lease deal below $999/month and its 'god' like performance, the great C63 owners now do not have to associate themselves with him. They can continue to enjoy their vehicles with a group of people that are classier and prefer a higher level of unstated enjoyment. Instead BMW had to get the shaft from dealing with an overly exaggerating guy with his soft-top 'chick magnet' car. I'm sure your compensating ways will be short lived. Now let us mark this day as a victory for all AMG owners.
As someone has said before, things happen for a reason.
PS: Please enjoy your 6-rag as long as you can. We rather have our peace over here. Those 650s hardly move from dealerships these days.

Bro you need a big mans car: S, CL !..
The 6 is a very good looking car in my opinion, the convertible not so much .
Get the m6 if its $50 more than your C63.

I really hope you are excited about the 650. I know how excited you were about the C63 and I understand your reasoning a bit regarding the lease rates and MSRP's. My "issue" - maybe I missed it, but you haven't really mentioned the excitement value that the C63 is going to provide you. Its hard to place a $$$ dollar figure on that, but in my mind its priceless. There is absolutely nothing like having your car put a huge smile on your face time and time again, even 3-4 years down the road. That C63 is gonna make your heart beat a little differently when you are behind the wheel.. I'm gonna take a bet that the 650 won't even come close.
Just hate to see someone (yes, even LE) leave something on the table in terms of the C63. But regardless, good luck either way.

i think people should stop the bashing.
I agree with OP that $1300 a month for a C-class is not worth it. If you can afford it, great. If you feel any other way, there are much better choices. My friend is leasing one for $1100. IMHO I would've picked a used M5 or E55/63 instead.

And there it is. Let the celebration begin. Ok ok.. LE bashing aside, I feel compelled to speak up after spending so much time during the last several months reading your 1,300 posts.

thanks alot, i do appreciate it
the main reason i loved the car is the looks. i think it truly looks amazing!!! yes, better looking than the 650 in my opinion
in fact , i liked the way it looks so much, that i was willing to sacrifice comfort to get into one. remember im 6'6'' and im also comming out of a very comfy ls460
so i crammed myself into it a few times, and i fit, so i said screw it, i want one!
the interior was pretty weak, but i still wanted it non the less!
the ride was maybe too harsh, and i dont really "need" a sports car.....but i still loved the way it looked and sound, and still wanted it just as bad!!!
so you see, i was making ALOT of sacrifices because i was such a big fan of this car......
but the price of the lease......that was just too much to sacrifice
1400+ for the C63 ?!?!?!?
come on, you guys know cars!
some of you actually know what the heck youre talking about
1400 + to lease this thing is not CRAZY????
