alignment cost and tire rotation

alignment cost and tire rotation
i just took my car in for service B and they suggested an alignment and tire rotation.
i didn't feel i needed a tire rotation considering i had replaced the tires not too long ago. but that was $59 i think
and the alignment would be $265.
is this about right costwise?
update: they also noted to me that i would be due for a brake fluid and power steering change.
brake fluid $129
power steering $169

Where are you located?
Our alignments are around $150...

they said the fluids still have life in them. it's not black. but suggested it.
and yeah i know... it's just what they said to me.

Something fishy here........Although I once had wheels swapped on a new M3 at the dealer and they tried to deliver the car with the unidirectional tread facing the wrong way. I had to explain to them what the rotation arrows were for. This was back in 99 and it may have been an unfamiliar issue at the time.

They are directional so the only way to rotate side to side is to dismount the tyre from the rim and replace it in the opposite direction. Not worth it!

actually.....
Actually they only have "outside" markings so you can rotate on same axle only. If they were directional like Goodyear F1 GSD3 then you get an arrow or directional marking. Therefore, you can switch one rear to the other rear side or front left to front right etc.
