Yep-you can. With the new 6.2L V8 that you have under the hood-all but the luckiest cops (the ones in vettes, SRT8's ect-and even then you'll nudge them!) wont stand a chance against you!

i'm gonna have to agree with rockjock on this one. the popos won't stand a chance against that 6.2 V8 beast. i've seen some cops driving terminator cobras down in Tucson. not sure if the cops mod those, but they could give you a run if they do. i suppose there is only one way to find out

Well, you probably cant becuase you're driving around in your wifes CUV-but he can because he has that big V8 with monster tq.
Radios are not that fast anyway-and you have to take into account the curvature of the earth, the distance to the nearest tower (or sat if they are using GPS radios)-its possible.

well i have lost a state trooper by accelerating to 110 and taking a quick detour when i was out of sight. he passed me straight on and i saw him turn on his lights and cross the median but that was the last i saw of him. state cop in a mercury.

The best way to outrun cops is to do the opposite of natural human nature - that is to say, most runners make the first righthand turn followed by a lefthand turn. Cops know this and will act accordingly. So if you take the opposite approach and go left then right, you're golden. Or you can really mix it up and do a left-left maneuver.
You can also interfere with radio transmissions by turning your own car stereo to frequency of 88.4.

i do have tint,don't know how that helps. asianml i dont know why you are flaming me. i just ask a simple question. thanks to everyone else for the good answers. im just trying to avoid more tickets.

I wasnt sure if anyone else would post the fq (thanks for breaking the ice Brenton!)-it def works-hell, you can mess with one just by driving by (at the speed limit of course 
)-def try that one-they start looking like 4 year olds behind the wheel! :lol:-

Yes, it works fantastically.
One other secret to outrunning a cop is gearing. The reverse gear in a cop cruiser is much too short to maintain speed over 25mph, whereas your C will easily do 35-40. So if you throw it in reverse, you'll be able to beat the cop quite nicely until you have a chance to do a J-turn. Try it.

true. this will help create the important 180 degree destructive interference needed at the nodes of the waves to help completely eliminate the radio frequency.
