Either day is fine but the 9th would be a better fit for me.

I work the morning of the 16th.

Yes, I can do it. However, it's not feasible because of the time it takes to pull the ECU, BDM it, then reinstall, dyno, and repeat the process. I could have made 3 runs / changes on an OBDII flashable car in this time frame.

If you want to do it, it will be $775 for the flash, plus the hourly tuning fee's listed above. I would expect that your car would take 2-3 hours for a good custom tune.

So, you would be able to make a 2-3:00 PM time slot on the 16th if needed?

I did this flash along with a friend of mine. He already posted up his before and after dynos and I still need to go back and do my dyno again (planning to do it the week before xmas). Fairly safe to say the gains are around 40-50whp.

One of the features I really like is the fact the throttle is far more responsive. Additionally, I have not felt any type of hesitation or surge anywhere in the rpm range.

I really want to test this out against a stock C63 to see the difference...

Now is this detectable by the dealer, Or something they would really have to dig for? also, if the dealer does a reflash, how much is it to get a new flash from you?

Thanks again.

Fantastic deal from Jerry and the gang. Highly recommended mod - I've now been running it for a few weeks, both in the white stuff and on the dry with summer wheels. Both perform fantastically. Better throttle, kick all the other cars to the curb take off. Good stuff.

The dyno graphs posted at https://mbworld.org/forums/3841192-post4.html are from my car. From the graph , there isn't that big of a change until after 5k rpm. However when driving, it is noticeably more responsive throughout the whole range. As if the throttle response has been improved, and or it revs faster.

Also, note that the "after" dyno was on bigger tires which might have a slight performance penalty. Tire size before tune: 255/35/18. Tire size after tune: 275/35/18. I had no choice due to timing of the tirewear. How much penalty? Maybe someone more familiar with this topic can chime in.

Overall I'm very happy with the results of the LET tune and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for more power/responsiveness. Thanks go to Jerry and all8up.

Thanks for the testimonials.

I think I might want to go with the dyno/tuning to really
get the most out of this mod.

Dyno / Tuning Fee
Dyno usage cost - $150 per hour
Dyno Tuning cost - $100 per hour
So, basically it's $775 for the flash and $250 per hour for tuning?

Im thinking about doing this, but trying to figure out your charge.
with my E55 your saying the tuning service is $800,(this is just a standard drop in tune?)
and its 150 extra an hour to fine tune it on the dyno?(and your saying 2-3 hours to fine tune) + the use of the dyno for 100 an hour.
so figure around $1550 bucks for a custom tune?

With some Florida guys talking about going to the Florida Crown PCA event at Roebling Road on Jan 23,24 (see other recent thread), could you move your tuning day to that week end? That would seal the deal for me .

Your numbers look right.

That's how i added it up.

Not a bad price considering some of the other tuners charge
about $1500 for just an ECU flash.

I also forgot to mention that Jerry actually had me ship my ECU to him over the Thanksgiving break to his house. He had the ECU back to me on Sat...how is that for service?
